MK was one of my favorite characters long ago but he became too difficult to follow.

1) MacKay: You haven't read Moench, if you had I think you would've ranked this higher. Moench defined the character, and religious angst and a flawed man's desire for redemption were more important than the insanity. Bendis, Lemire, and Bemis didn't understand the character's roots, that's why they leaned so heavily on the insanity
2) Ellis: damn good
3) Lemire: it's this high because it's brilliant storytelling and art. But once again, Lemire doesn't understand the character's history. He messes up the origin and character motivations, but it's so fun that I forgive him
4) Huston/Benson: an important era for the character
5) Hurwitz: meh
6) Bendis: it's not really Moon Knight
7) Bemis. This run is awful. A terrible exploration of mental health. And the plot and characterization is awful.
