I am your SU friend Katina, funny thing is we met years ago when you came down the escalator at Convention and you gave me a little clear envelope with a cute topper and a couple of 4x6 pocket cards. I JUST found/came across that little envelope the other day while digging through some scrapbooking kits on my shelf. You gave those to me probably 15 years ago and they made the move from New Jersey to IL with me. Change is difficult but I know you and your family are going to be just fine, just breathe momma. I have struggled a bit with the whole "incident" thing and purchasing from and continuing as a demonstrator myself. I've been praying about it for some time and December would be the deadline for me to decide. Hi, Katina, it's been a long while but your video popped up in my feed and I do know why because I've been watching a lot of anti-MLM videos recently. I stepped away back in April and haven't looked back. All of the changes didn't really sit well with me, especially the CTMH offer to their creators and not being in the "present" when it comes to designs. One thing, I have realized since leaving ... the "community" / "friends" you make aren't there anymore (for the most part) so you really are just your demonstrator ID; just a number. I have given up cardmaking/crafting altogether because of life and health issues, which have now improved and I'm also taking some online classes for what I should have done many moons ago, graphic design. I turn 42 on the 18th of this month and figure it was time for something new and that I enjoy doing. I wish you and Wendy both all the success outside of the Stampin' Up! world; you both have always worked hard to make your "business" work and I know that leaving Stampin' Up! will benefit you. I loved your project. I have so much DSP 😂. I left SU last month as well, although for me it was more about a personal change of direction to memory keeping. I know I could do that with SU but I wanted to use other products.
Thank you so much! And HUGS I know leaving Stampin Up is just hard for 100 different reason. I always want to hug someone when they say they have left. I know what you mean about "yes you can" do it with Stampin Up ... but memory-keeping, scrapbooking, crafting shouldn't be so hard, you shouldn't have to "work" to make it all work... there are so many other companies that make it easy! LOL So glad you are here! If you run into road blocks with any projects always know I'm here to help!
I have an idea for your Christmas tissue box. do a shell to go over the box and then you can lift it off and use again or when tissue is out and you need a new box you'll have a cover,,,,, add 1/2" to a side as a tab.
OHHH that would be so fun. You know honestly I love making things like that so I don't need it to last, or to be able to reuse it. I love creating them. And it is just as easy to add new tissues to the box from the bottom. The other thing that I try to do it is keep it simple. adding tabs seems to complicated LOL !!!! Cutting 4 panels and adding them to the box seems easier. I'm a totally lazy crafter LOL !!!!!!!
Hi I have done a deep dive into the SU investigation watching different hearings on u tube etc. and there is no way I can support this company any longer. Things are not always as they seem. It’s really awful.
My husband had me resign a year ago when all of it hit the fan. I haven't missed it really, because I have gone into reading and reading journals. Planners are more fun now too. I just couldn't buy any of their products after watching it all, not even Paper Pumpkin.

Also... a trail date was set for next year. Jury selection will begin in October 2025 and the trail should be underway by November.
