This is the best Makari song. Period. The songwriting is phenomenal and Andy's vocals are amazing. This might be my favorite song of 2020.

I love these songs, but so far, two for two (this and Let Go) both make me think of an ex who I lost due to my own issues in the relationship, and god damn these depressive episodes ain't good for me but the songs just go so hard I can't stop
Update: I got out of the depression episodes. I finally sent her a message saying goodbye, wishing her well. I never got a response, but I didn't need one. I did it for me.
Further update: I was blinded by love for the longest time. We both weren't good for one another, but she's moved on and so have I. I blamed myself because in my eyes she wasn't the one causing problems, just reacting. But that's not entirely the case. I do hope she's doing alright.

Andy, just curious man. Can you share more about the meaning behind the lyrics? I've adored this song since its release but have noticed a potential correlation between this and "Golden Palace Kingdom". Maybe I'm wrong though! Overall, this song is beautiful, and I appreciate the work you put out!
