    Hi, what a super shop, your tank has really coloured up, the contrasting greens and the splash of orange/red really jump out at you, lovely. The Japanese style garden and koi pond are very nice, super koi too. Thanks .

    Great tank evolution Jurijs. It looks gorgeous. Regarding the Killis, how has Zoo Flottmann had success keeping them from jumping out? You mentioned this problem but the tank seemed to be filled to a normal level and it didn't have a lid. They look fantastic in the tank.

      I always plant super dense because of unlimited resources. However, everyone should try to plant as dense as possible and if you are on a tight budget you can always help with some super fast growing plants and or floating plants

      It’s ok, no worries... how about another ask? How a tank that is setup for the tropics where the typical temperature is at 28c to 32c. Like to learn about your plant and livestock choices and tank setup options. The catch is you can’t use a water chiller...

    • @JurijsJutjajevs
      @JurijsJutjajevs  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are some plants that can do this temperature. Mostly South American types. I have just recently setup a discus aquarium and it’s set for 27/28 degree Celsius. All plants im using are stated to be ok for up to 30 degree Celsius . However, indoor want to go to the limit. Also higher temps require more feeding, and adding more oxygen to the water for the fish, etc so I stay at 27/28. if you temperature is higher you go basically same the same route and looks for plants that can handle it. Or maybe go without plants completely and do all filtration and oxygen technically. Hope this helps

    I just started keeping cherry shrimp in my planted tank a few months ago. I slowly increased my pH from about 6.5 to 7.0 because I was told they need at least a neutral pH and calcium content in the water column to do well. So I was surprised to hear of the low PH in this tank along with the presence of the cherry shrimp. Have there been any issues with that? The gh reading my my tank was also very low, and I was told to increase the calcium content of my water if I was going to do CO2 injection. Any thoughts on that? Thanks for your wonderful videos and amazing works of aquatic art!

    • @JurijsJutjajevs
      @JurijsJutjajevs  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      cherry shrimps are robust and will do perfectly fine in various conditions, however, for healthy shrimps you need GH 5° thats all I take care about
