33:13 I wouldn’t be too surprised by that, Disney overprices the heck out of practically EVERYTHING they sell. As a Floridian, who semi-frequently visits the place, I’m kind of used to it.

The fact you used the music from the former Wishes fireworks show for the intro at 0:57...I see you're a man of culture as well! I've used the disability access service as well (I was born with a hip disability on top of autism so I don't do well with standing a long time). They go above and beyond for accessibility to make sure everyone has a good experience at the parks!
Art of Animation is the best value resort! Not only is the theming incredible (like the big sketches at the lobby at 2:44), but is also has its own Skyliner line just like the neighboring Pop Century! It's mind-blowing how this resort used to be an ABANDONED project (specifically the lobby and Little Mermaid section) called the Pop Century Legendary Years, it was supposed to be themed to the 1900s to the 1940s as the Pop Century resort was meant to be themed to the whole 20th century. Classic Years (current Pop Century) was built first, but the Legendary Years section's construction stopped because of a tourism halt due to 9/11. The bridge that now has a Skyliner station, was meant to connect both parts of Pop Century, and one-half of it was closed off for years.

Glad to see you had a fun time at Disney World and got to experience some of the new lands and attractions like Toy Story Land, Galaxy’s Edge and Pandora. I’ve been to Disney World 12 years ago and got to visit all the lands except the water parks and even ride defunct attractions like Splash Mountain, The Backlot Studio Tour, Primeval Whirl and The Great Movie Ride. I’d look forward to going back and checking out the new lands; well, maybe I’m a bit hesitant on Pandora since I’m not an Avatar fan. But seeing you enjoy the rides in that section even if you’re also not a fan of the films, maybe I could try those attractions.

    Disney World employee here! …Again!
Like I said, I work at Animal Kingdom, and even as a lowly custodian, I wouldn't have it any other way. And I previously commented on the Patreon version of this video, but I wanted to give an extended remark regarding it. Especially since I watched the video in full.
As I mentioned, I really enjoyed your 11+ hour documentary on Disney Animation. I wanted to find something that chronicled the studio's history, and I stumbled upon your video. Was I hooked. I watched it three times fully (honorable mentions excluded), and yet I still enjoy watching multiple segments individually.
Seeing that video really made me love seeing how the company evolved and grew in its then near-100 year lifetime. And I'm certainly excited to see where Disney goes next!
Now, you considered this trip to Disney World a very rare opportunity. And I can understand that. Working at the park, I can say without certainty that there are many families who are having a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the biggest entertainment resort in the world. And for me?
Just a regular walk in the parks. I make a simple reservation and I'm good to go!
As for what rides I go on, I have a few rides that I always try to go on with each park. I usually go on 3-4 rides every day; I don't stay at the parks for long. But more visits than average make up for that, yeah?
For Magic Kingdom, I usually go on It's a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Under the Sea. I also enjoy going on Space Mountain, and I think Tron will also be a religiously frequent ride as well. It's rather short, but very sweet. And sometimes, I also stop and see the Festival of Fantasy Parade-I prefer seeing it in Frontierland.
For Epcot, I always go on Cosmic Rewind. 38 times and it never gets old! Helps that I always wake up before 7 to get the virtual queue. Other rides that I usually visit are Soarin', Test Track, and Spaceship Earth. And I also enjoy touring the World Showcase. There's this certain room in Japan that I especially love relaxing in, devoted to the kawaii culture.
Hollywood Studios is my least favorite park, to be honest, but that doesn't mean I enjoy it! Certainly, Tower of Terror, Star Tours, and Millennium Falcon are the usual highlights of my visits there.
And finally, my home base, Animal Kingdom. For some reason, the popcorn there tastes the best there! I strive to go on Dinosaur, Expedition Everest, and Kilimanjaro Safaris. I especially enjoy the Maharajah Jungle Trek and all the animals there. Sometimes, I just lounge about at Rafiki's Planet Watch, because why not?
As for Disney Springs, the visits there are just as frequent as a trip to the local mall at my old home-2-3 times a week. I usually cycle through the whole area, starting with West Side. Speaking of West Side, it's my favorite of the four districts. The calming futuristic music that makes me excited for the future is a highlight, and me and my dad go to AMC Theatres to see the newest films. We also occasionally go to Splitsville for a bite to eat.
And one last note, due to where we live, we have the added enjoyment of seeing the fireworks show at Epcot from the bare strip of land we traverse on to head home.
In short, I'm so glad you enjoyed your vacation at Walt Disney World! Stuff like this doesn't happen often, and you certainly made the most of it during your time here. Still crazy that my visits to Disney World are as regular as trips to the mall. And never do I get tired of all these rides!
And seeing what you did, and everything you managed to accomplish, I feel so happy for you. You having the biggest time of your life, going to all these attractions, seeing all those shows… These truly are memories that you'll never forget.
Thanks for visiting and making this video, and hope you enjoy everything Disney has to offer in the future! Wish, Frozen III, Zootopia 2, Elemental, Elio, Inside Out 2, Toy Story 5, and more to come-are you excited? Because I truly am!
P.S. SAM WIDGE CADDY CAMEO YAY LOVE THAT GUY

Great fun! Thanks for letting me tag along! I live in Colorado so only get to WDW twice a year, each time for eight nights. I hit up the parks in the very same order as your trip; MK, EPCOT, Disney Studios, Animal Kingdom. After getting up early for four straight mornings, on the fifth day, I turn off the alarm and sleep in. The fifth day is decompression…maybe lunch and shopping at Disney Springs. I then spend an extra day in each of my two favorite parks, MK and EPCOT. By then, I am like a kid who’s eaten too much sugar and am really buzzing. Time to head back to Denver knowing I’ll be back in six months. Although I would never go on very fast rides like those at Universal, e.g.; Velocicoaster, I never find the “thrill” rides at WDW too uncomfortable. That said, you will never get me to ride Tower of Terror. That sinking feeling as you’re dropped 13 stories is one I avoid. I’ve never stayed at the Art of Animation. The past few years I have discovered the calm surroundings and easy access of the Wilderness Lodge. Highly recommended. I definitely liked your upload and definitely subscribed! 👍

We didn’t get to do every single thing you did, but at least now I can confidently say that I was able to ride Splash Mountain at least once before they shut the ride down. That final drop scared the crap out of me, but once I reached the bottom, I couldn’t help but laugh like a maniac! My last visit to Walt Disney World was in 1995 with my parents, sister, and grandmother. I met some Disney characters like Baloo, King Louie, The Genie, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Launchpad McQuack, Pluto, Chip & Dale, Rafiki, Brer Fox, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, and of course, Mickey Mouse. I also went to some attractions and shows. Some were good like Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Festival of the Lion King, The Enchanted Tiki Room, Pirates of the Caribbean, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience!, Star Tours, a cinema of how Toy Story was made, Voyage of The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas and her Forest Friends, and Splash Mountain (sniff... I'm gonna miss it 😥). And some were not like Snow White's Scary Adventures, Space Mountain, and Maelstrom. Of course, we made some purchases like a VHS copy of The Wind in the Willows and Mickey's The Prince and the Pauper, figurines of Sorcerer Mickey, Winnie the Pooh, Nala, and Darth Vader, and some action figures of Spiderman and Superman. Yeah, it was also a fun experience for me 🙂

I'm so happy you went to Walt Disney World and got to experience pretty much everything. It's also pretty cool that you became brave and decided to do the thrill rides because honestly the thrill rides at Disney are among the best. I am curious if the next time you go to Disney, you would be interested to try out Tower of Terror, Rock N Roller Coaster and Expedition Everest. Since you've ridden rides like Guardians and Tron I feel like you can handle Everest and Rock N Roller Coaster but Tower of Terror I'm not so sure. Everest does go backwards, Rock N Roller Coaster has inversions and a slingshot launch and Tower of Terror has alot of drops in the dark but honestly Everest isn't too bad as a ride itself. I'd say the beginning is very calming, I'd say as soon as it goes backwards is when the thrills begin. Tower of Terror for the most part actually slowly goes up, slowly goes forward or doesn't move at all. The drop sequence lasts for like 30 seconds but honestly everybody loves that ride, I was scared myself but when I tried it, it was amazing. It has that float sensation that feels similar to Cosmic Rewind in a way. Finally Rock N Roller Coaster, personally I think it's the most intense of the 3 because of the inversions and crazy fast launch. But atleast the ride is over in a minute, I'd say save Tower of Terror or Rock N Roller Coaster for last if you're planning to go back to Disney and try the thrill rides you missed. Also I am wondering how you feel about Zootopia and Moana lands coming to Animal Kingdom along with Coco, Encanto and Disney Villain lands coming to Magic Kingdom. (though this is still not 100% gonna happen but there's a possibility)

Fun fact: Cinderella Castle is a lightning rod! This was done as a way to Florida-proof! Disney World has hundreds of hidden lightning rods within the parks. Cinderella Castle as I mentioned, Spaceship Earth, Hall of Presidents's weathervane, and the Tower of Terror are all examples of lightning rods! The Tower of Terror rod is actually quite fitting considering the ride's story involves a paranormal lightning strike from the fifth dimension. Another way they Florida-proofed the parks is that the hotels and buildings within the parks have been built strong enough to handle different categories of hurricanes. They've really gone above and beyond!
How did Tower of Terror become the icon? Well traditionally the icon has been the Earffel Tower before it was switched to the Sorcerer's Hat (which overstayed its welcome). Both of these were demolished and Tower of Terror became the icon because it's now the park's most prominent structure. Like, you can even see it from Epcot which was a problem when they were building Morocco so they made Morocco look in a way that it blended in.

In fact, I did most of Hollywood Studios in half a day (excluding Rise of the Resistance, which broke down way before the actual ride portion, and Tower of Terror, which I was not in the mood for)! Art of Animation is an awesome place, and I went there twice during my trip, once due to the 2PM park hopping rule, and another time because my sister got nauseous on Flight of Passage due to not eating and two of the rides at Animal Kingdom broke down. One of my favorite moments from that trip was before the Not So Scary Halloween Party. I was dressed as Mirabel from Encanto, and Mirabel pointed to me when the Adventure Friends Calvacade passed. I stayed at the Polynesian.

I gotta be honest, this might be your best video yet. It really made me feel nostalgic about going there in 2016 with a lot of major upgrades and vlogs are my favorite types of videos to watch on TH-cam. Sucks you didn't go to the waterparks because I personally prefer the waterparks over the theme parks in Walt Disney World. I stayed in the same hotel as you but my room design was Frozen. My favorite ride would be Rock n Roller Coaster. That ride won't be for everyone but I love thrill rides so it's definitely for me. Personally I prefer the Disneyland in California as the rides are better (a lot of them I'd put among my favorites) and Disney's California Adventure is my favorite Disneyland park. The Incredicoaster is my favorite ride in all of Disneyland.

TH-cam critics I like like Jambareeqi and even Saberspark are kinda hard to watch sometimes because they swear too much. Yes I know animat swears sometimes but those are rare. So rare that I actually think he is the critics that makes me relax. Yeah I know that he was kinda rude over that emoji movie that I don’t get the hate for but he changed. 3:55-4:09 If I were going on a vacation to Disney, I would have rented a car, and gone to a grocery store to stock up on what I would need for the week, or however long I am staying there. Also, I would try not to eat out too much, because of how expensive it can be, but if I am going to do it, I would not limit myself to whatever is in Disney Springs and go outside the resort to eat.
Case and point, the last time my family went to Disney, we tried a German restaurant that was 40 miles north of the resort and it was great, certainly better than what we could have had on property.

This was a lovely tribute and it's cool to finally see some of Animat's family. Coincidentally, I went to Walt Disney World around the same time Mat did last year with my dad, brother and his girlfriend. I didn't get to do everything I wanted like Jungle Cruise, Enchantment, Frozen Ever After and Tower of Terror and Muppet Vision 3D because we only had a week and we wanted to go to the Universal Studios parks as well, some of them were closed for maintenance and my party often wanted to return to the hotel early, but it was still a fun ride nonetheless. Fun fact: when we went, we were in huge lines and pretty much NO One was wearing any masks, and now of us got Covid soon after our trip ended!!! Anyway, nice video and it does bring back some memories of that lovely and magical place.
