- Let's do something a little crazy! How's about we submit the ENTIRE RUN of the Archie TMNT adventure series and specials for cleaning, pressing and grading and wait to see what grades we get!

Thanks for showcasing this James! This is a daunting task, but to be the only one with a complete graded set, maybe even going in the CGC registry, I can’t pass that up especially with what TMNT means to me. And yes #72 was the last issue of the run and those quarterly issue specials (summer, fall, winter, spring) are even harder to get

Absolutely love this collection,I actually have issue 56 and a few others of these signed by Kevin Eastman in my PC. Such great books. You can never go wrong with tmnt.

I have almost that whole run, (just missing 2 issues) in conditions ranging from 1.0 to 9.8. It's funny because as a kid I was buying that series from the local grocery store because I couldn't find the real tmnt comics, and I was always bummed out that I was getting a second tier product. Now I'm happy I hung onto them.

I picked up a run of the same series number 1 through 10 when a comic book shop had a post-christmas 40% off sale. Probably paid just over $1 each after the discount. The shop doesn't value anything archie. Probably all 9.4 for better copies and they're all the Canadian price so yeah they're pretty rare.
That a great collection I have been working on one myself of the same series and it’s not easy can’t wait to see came back great channel keep up the good work

Funny, I was JUST checking this past weekend on the 11 issues of that specific run that I'm missing. The rarity (and subsequent pricing) for those is no joke! I have to give your buddy credit though...I have NEVER seen all of those Specials in the same place at the same time. Wow. Nice collection!

Yoooooo! I respect that joe. Just get it graded and the rest don’t matter. At least your getting them cleaned and pressed. Also what a run. Never seen all of them at once. I definitely have a few from this run. I’m actually after all of the last ronin 😅and a few from the og.

I just sent in a Wolverine book that probably won’t grade super awesome and won’t sell for anything but it’s going to be one of my grails just because of the sentimental value, sometimes you just gotta do stuff for you ! This is a very awesome collection ! Congratulations to your buddy hopefully he gets grades he is happy with!

I'm curious to know what you are looking at so quickly and basing your grade estimate on? Also, how does one know how much CGC drops grades based on flaws?
I would suggest to your pal to send in 10-15 books at a time. If you send them all in at once and get a grader having a bad day then ALL those books will suffer from it. Cool looking books though.

@@MintHunterComics that way you'll have several unboxing videos of his books. 😁
Send them in new mylars with the flaps open, placed in a poly bag(flap open). That way you get extra protection and it's easy for the grader to pull the book out. If you sent all your books off in top loaders or mylars I bet your overall grades would increase.
Having reg bags is way better than mylar. Graders cut themselves on mylar and it's harder to pull the book out. no tape, and flap open with reg bags
Realized watching this video I have Issues 1-3 sitting in a tote. Not in the greatest shape but really don't look too bad either.

So, the Archie Tmnt Avdenturs were my first comics ever just about. I had 2 and 3 of the series and just read them to pieces with the comic of the second movie i had gotten at a yardsale
Years later ive tracked down my favorite (issue 2) and hope to get that submitted one day just because it holds so much sentimental value and is in wayyy better condition then my childhood copy haha
I picked this series up as a lot about 15 years ago. This is a nice looking set though. Good luck with the grading.

I have Archie Adventure series TMNT comics. #6 at a 9.2 and #45 at a 9.0 and #50 at a 8.5 That's the only ones I own. They are in Raw condition not graded.. Yet....
James, which presser do you use and is he accepting new business?
The first few issues had multiple printings any 2nd, 3rd, 4th prints?

I have about 12 issues of this run. My #1 is signed by Eastman! I had a chance to buy what looked like the rest of the series a while back, but I didn’t have the funds at the time… it was gone the next day.😢

I had the first 3 of this set and the 3-part min series as well, and I am kicking myself for selling them in the 90's. My brother and I also had a bunch of the early Image TMNT issues, also sold in the 90's, SMH.
They’re tough to find because of this! Everyone got rid of em

The original Mirage issues 1 through 62? That’s awesome congrats! That’s a hard completed run as well. I do have issues 1 through 62 as well. Should I submit? Lol
@@joelatorre if for your own PC and you want to keep them safe, yes. Or if they are all high grade. I think the turtles will have a Rollercoaster price range.
That's wacky cover art... when you submit to CGC, do you not tape the bag and board? You probably made a video about how you submit to CGC. going to dig through your content.
Honestly I can’t remember if I did! I mention it causally a couple times
When I submit to CGC, I usually use blue painter's tape. I want the bag to stay closed, but I also want it to be easily opened on the other end. Painter's tape does the trick nicely.
@@jeffstanley6013 I do the same, I even make a tab. Curious if on larger orders the CGC team prefers no tape at all? I've never done 100+ #smallBeansOverHere

My son had a pretty good run of Archie TMNT. maybe I will look through them a and see what I got. No way would I submit all the issues. Best of luck to your psl

even raw some of the later issues could be $20-$25 dollars depending on the condition.

I would tell him only submit the later issues because they're harder to find. What if he needs a furnace or car repairs.
