Cool build! One of my former professors is a huge lego fan and for her birthday I want to make her this: th-cam.com/video/cUwN3eJnJ2A/w-d-xo.html. What do you think? He put the build instructions on his website but some features seem ad hoc (like the springs for the buttons). I could be wrong though. I'd just want it to be made of pieces I can order straight from the lego website catalog.

That looks amazing. You're smart enough to work out the ad-hoc stuff and your professor will love it!

By the way, do you find the lego website's catalog to be very comprehensive? Like if a particular set was sold out do you think it would be difficult to just buy all the individual bricks from the website?@@mumofbricks

@@jimmysonglaugh8110 if you downloaded the instructions the list of bricks would be on the back of the manual. You could go to brick a brick and put each part number in. Probably work out expensive though to buy a set that way.

@@mumofbricks I'm not really sold on these car builds. The packaging looks awesome but the lego plastic makes the end result look kinda lame... maybe they could branch out to different materials or something...
