I am based in Zambia, Africa due to work. I watched evening show alone and due to many Punjabi references in the movie people around me basically strangers tried to associate and be friendly with me quoting lines in Punjabi etc. It’s one of these experience, as audiences people resonate. Movie was great

I'm a very huge fan of SRK but i don't want to believe him when he says "I'm the last of the stars". I can already see Ranbir Kapoor continuing the legacy of Kapoors as Superstars. He's in fact the best actor (acting wise) we have in the industry right now, regardless of the stardom of other khans, Kumar, Roshan and Devan. He deserves as much as love if not more than SRK❤❤

No doubt it was an awesome movie. RK was obviously the highlight of it and the movie was actually made to be revolved around RK. The only issue I had was the screen time of BOBBY. I was really disappointed as he had only 4 scenes in the movie.

In animal in post credit character he did voice modulation that was killing. In other personas not even in old character in the beginning voice was same . If you compare his old character acting to Hrithik in dhoom 2 Hrithik killed it with the character

He may not get awards given how woke the movie industry is, but he has won our hearts. Producers are happy, movie goers are happy, and if anyone's unhappy, it's the woke mob. for them, there's the monkey that Ranbir describes in the beginning and end of the movie.
Unpopular opinion but kyyyaaaa baat kar rahe ho bhai, I don't care about anyone who says that some movie is problematic or misogynistic but even as a cinema enjoyer this film does not live up to the hype and straight up does not make sense in so many scenes and the best part might be the action and that's just like 30 minutes of the whole movie. There is no complicated relationship as they want to convey and it just seems like they just want to do the opposite of what a normal society would do without any reason. This movie would have been a good movie if it was 2 hours long but with the current 3 hour 30 minutes cut it is just crap

L in Animal was surely not Logic. There was no logic of adding so many scenes in the movie. After interval my friend was literally sleeping. Forgot about violence or chauvinism those are secondary and debatable topic. People are flawed and if someone is getting influenced it’s their problem. We have seen violence and chauvinism in Gangs of wassepur but this movie seems like it was made out of no need. There was no logic in love for his father, no logic of whole story, since there was no story wanga added baseless scenes to movie, it seemed like the whole script was improvised on the sets. Only Ranbir Kapoor was awsm. Tripri had done many better films, just because she did a semi naked scene we made her a national crush. Bobby had only 15 min time on screen and no dialogue, why people are mad about him I have no idea. The whole hype on social media seems to be paid and fake like this interview.

This is the difference between critics and youtubers. You need to praise the good points and call out the bad ones. BGM kahan so rha tha? Editing kahan so rhi thi? ye movie 3 ghante ki isliye hai kyuki ye log edit karna bhul gye. Ranbir ki performance no doubt kaaafi achi thi...but Bobby toh aaya aur gayab ho gya. Movie ke action scenes bhi extended the faltu mei...koi josh hi nhi aa rha tha dekh kr.

The movie was full of unnecessary dialogues and the second half was pathetic. Full of misogyny (first half was better, and even some of the alpha traits can be agreed upon). Showing flawed characters is fine, but celebrating misogyny is not done. And yes, RK was good (but by no means the best for someone who played Barfi)

From acting to editing and direction to dialogues..the movie was a pure mess....30 mins into the movie, I was wondering if this was supposed to be a comedy movie. And by half of the movie I was confused what I was watching and by the end of the movie I was convinced that I had been pranked by Sandeep Reddy. Now I am in shock and laughing hysterically on how I was an idiot to actually believe that Bollywood could actually deliver something good. I anticipated this incoherent storyline in Animal. Kabir Singh's strength lies in its core love story, with an emotional and endearing climax. Sandeep only extracted the violent hero element from Kabir Singh, mistakenly attributing the blockbuster success solely to that aspect. Honestly, Animal is not even 5% of what Kabir Singh was. I just couldn’t connect with the storyline or the characters in Animal, whereas some scenes from Kabir Singh still make me emotional to this day.
That’s what they want don’t connect with him. Don’t feel with him. Cause he is a criminal. An animal like the movie name said.

Ranbir is child of Kiara and now angry because he discovered how toxic Kabir was in past.

Now speaking about Film well father-son bond was shown minutely in there young days should had some great scenes in the starting. The bond was sparkled in the later half but there was not a great foundation build up. Ranbir and Anil both Acted really well in the film they deserve 10/10 for the same. About love life, honestly Rashmika was shown a kind of puppet under Ranbir hands, half of the time I was not able to understand what she actually was trying to say Rashmika should work on her Hindi communication. Kissing scenes were good but love chemistry was not upto the mark. Tripti dimra the gorgeous lady made a better romantic and love scenes in some 20 mins film sequence. Rashmika was just a housewife figure .About the Antagonist Bobby deol should have given a lot more scenes to justify his powers he was there for a very little time but excellent performance. Bobby deol really made a good comeback 10/10. Speaking about other character and some issue I noticed in the film. Many of the characters were there just to play a wax statue in the film like Ranbir mother, Mishra uncle, his grandfather and many small supportive actors .Should be given some dialogues to make the film a good blend. And speaking about the Issues Punjabi mans are shown to be having intimacy with Russians that's highly disrespectful because Punjabi people's are High morale men's and they never counter such things. Also abusive language has been most commonly used in places where there was not at all need. Ranbir is shown crazy, pschyo, brilliant, caring, emotional, mature, immature, traumatic, Alpha, and whatnot so many shades make the character weak at some point. cinematography is excellent, fashion is perfect or outstanding, Action scenes are great. Post credit scene was good accept some animal good crazy moments in second part. let's see how vanga directs it but rest worth watching, unbelievable but intresting and it's a complete Ranbir film and vangas imagination...... Rk Rocks and Vanga makes a blockbuster.

Subscribed and liked. You guys killed it. As a Bollywood lover in the US, I think this was a great cinematic experience, an uncharted character study in Indian cinema. Way better than Jawan and Pathaan. Those who bring up misogyny and excess violence miss the point about cinema. This is Godfather, Scarface and Joker level. Ranbir is in my books the best actor India has. From Rocket Singh to Barfi to Rockstar, he has cemented his position as a great actor. I am glad he is finally getting the commercial success owed to him. Remember when Scarface came out, it was panned for misogyny and excess and today it is in film school textbooks. Animal and Ranbir will be same.

Scarface and Godfather were made in the 70s, 80s. And they were far more superior than this piece of shit film. Their screenplays are used by film schools to teach students what cinema means. Animal is a sequence of scenes strung together with a shoelace. There was nothing cohesive in the plot. Things happened out of nowhere with no consequence. You blow up an entire hotel and not a single enquiry takes place. Even the top mafia bosses had to deal with the cops and the government in The Godfather. Imagine Akash Ambani blowing up an entire hotel and people chanting his name like he is some God.
These are different times. Cinema changes with time, but not in India. We are still making the same stupid, illogical, problematic shit we used to make in the 70s 80s but with a much bigger budget and wider audience.
