I don't know her very well, but considering how emotional Ms. Hale got when she was saying 'farewell' to Garrus in ME3, I doubt she'd come back to voice FemShep for the newer games. It depends...in not a super fan of this woke stuff, but its different in mass effect. For dragons and knights this non-binary stuff does not fi (at least in my opinion). But for future space sci-fi its just a little easier. Of course I still dont want to be lectured by the game, but i think it will be less jarring when they put some of this stuff inside.

And this is just one of the several times EA has squeezed their games dry with DLC, Dragon Age being no exception from Origins with its numerous DLCs, with 2 and its collection of DLC, and in Inquisition with its DLC both single and multiplayer. If this game had the same player peak as Dragon's Dogma 2 at around 230,000 players yet alone broke even with whatever their end budget was, they would be singing a different tune for implementing DLC to this game. THEY EVEN HAD TO GIVE IT AWAY WITH A PURCHASE OF GRAPHIC CARDS, AND THEY'RE SAYING THIS GAME IS A SUCCESS? Won't deny that getting over 70,000 players on launch isn't a respectable number, but compared to other games that have released this year, even demos that were released this year, those numbers are like comparing an anthill to a mountain.

I think you need to look at Veilguard as a product of it's time- which is somewhere a few years ago They created most of this in the middle of the woke era. Mass Effect has time to avoid this, and they do have a couple very competent and respected people running the show. Hopefully woke management will have gotten the message and not inject theri politics into the game they are trying to make.

So as a investor of a different company that IPO'd I can offer some experience and say that you may not necessarily know or need to know the day to day operations of said company. You only need to know that the company is being run in "capable hands" so to speak and by that I mean in the hands of people who won't lose you money. The issue here is these investors in the gaming industry most likely are non-gamers themselves, have came in and pump billions into it when the industry was still young because they were told there was potential for money to be made off gamers. It didn't matter what games were to come out of it because the gaming community will gobble it up and for the longest time that was the case. Investors had a hands off approach and let everything run it's course. The idea is, you don't have to like or believe if the game will be successful as a investor, you only need the public (gamers) to believe that it will succeed/buy it. However, with DEI agenda and the political scene, everything has shifted within multitude of different entertainment sectors and you cannot go in blind like you once did. The investors got too comfortable and left those decision making in the hands of say CEO/developers and believed in the story they sold them rather than doing a quick Google diligence; risking their tendies much like Ubisoft's case now. Not that they will be poor (assuming they took profits over the years) but they won't make as much or whatever left of their holdings will be jeopardized. I personally don't like to stay in any particular company for too long because eventually the music got to stop so to speak.
They could just focus on fixing it. In a place where you have magic/ dragons / and tons of magic creatures in Dragon Age the most important story in the game is... gender identity .....now they "finish this game " they need to start to conquer the space with Mass Effect 5 ... when you go to save the galaxy you stop to tell that you switch gender half way in galaxy ..
The creators of DA origins and the original Mass Effect are doing a new space RPG called Exodus, and it looks phenomenal. Unless Bioware drops all the political nonsense, and REALLY focuses on gameplay and an epic story (which I seriously doubt they are even capable of) NO WAY will they compete with that game from the looks of it. Check it out sometime. It looks as epic as their older works....
Drag-Act: Veilguard will not have any DLC. Mass Effect 5 will not have many customers, unless Bioware changes to sanity. (It's electronic arts, so I won't be buying it whatever they do, but others might).
The people who actually built the game did a pretty good job. The writers - not so much. I'm having fun playing it - even if I have to skip a lot of dialogue. One nitpik I have is with those streaming it who aren't even trying to engage with the game while pretending they are giving it a fair chance. Not that it deserves a fair chance, because parts of it are unexcusable - but the people who built the game don't deserve a lot of the criticism they are getting because of the writing and maybe because of some gameplay features management forced upon them.
