I need help with my new years resolution. I've figured out how to change the stars.
My idea for changing the stars includes Orion and Pleiades (Subaru). I figure it's time to put something up there that's relevant to us, don't you think? Take Orion's belt and Betelgeuse becomes the head with a baseball hat. The 3 stars of Orion's belt make up the 3 fat belt loops on a baseball uniform. Below the belt are two legs bending at the knee. Saiph is the back foot and Rigel is the front foot. The feet aligning perfectly under the bent knees. The spear pointing at "Subaru" is the bat being swung and "Pleiades" is the baseball flying away after being hit. Bellatrix is the hand that let go of the bat. Put it all together and you get, "THE ALL-STAR." In my case, I see a left-handed batter and I imagine a "7" on the jersey. Which makes him, "Mickey." (As it should be ;-) But you can put any number you want, making, "THE ALL-STAR," any player you want. It'd be wrong of me to not, at least, try. This is me, trying. Pass it on, please and thank you. Don't worry, where I come from, crazy is a compliment. ;-P

I like the idea that Dark Matter and energy is the pulling of Space Time itself. Spacetime is the matrix that all planets, galaxies, and clusters exist in. The pulling on space time itself from high gravity objects like black holes and entire galaxies I would imagine have some uniform effects across the universe.
Be careful calling spacetime a "matrix." Technically it's a 4-dimentional continuum (Minkowski space.)

Dark matter potentially results from the combined density of unobserved paths in the Many Worlds Interpretation (MWI) existing in different orthogonal spatial directions. Under the MWI the gravitation of quantum objects would differ from classical matter in exhibiting both dark matter and dark energy.

Anton do you think dark matter could be wormholes to the inside of black holes. Like quasars have "dark matter halos" but they also have giant black holes in their center. Could the halo actually be a bunch of discrete wormholes produce by the black hole, with the gravity from inside the black hole transmitting through the wormholes which has the same effect that mass would when observed from a distance.

Couldn’t the universal redshift be partially explained by gravitational time dilation giving us a clue as to the total mass of the universe including mass outside of the observable universe? Suggesting that the strength of the universal gravitational field has decreased through time in proportion to the expansion of all the universe, known and unknown to such a degree that it has effected time itself.

Astrophysicists call both dark matter and dark energy "observable effects for which a cause has not yet been found." The effects of whatever these two phenomenon are has been observed with 6σ confidence. Astronomers observe new phenomenon constantly. The ask astrophysicists to figure out what is causing them. A college student builtva small radio telescope and observed that our galaxy is rotating faster than it should given the amount of baryonic matter it contains. No tooth fair. Hard, verifiable evidence.
What is baryonic matter?

What if dark energy is the white hole equivalent of every black hole in the universe? Thus, as the black holes grow, the universe expands faster, accounting for dark energy growing and then potentially slowing down as the black hole feeding slows down.
If every galaxy is going to expand away from every other galaxy so we cant see any other, why are we supposed to be crashing into Andromeda galaxy ? How can galaxies crash into each other if they are all getting further from each other?
I still say it's difference in time. How about this? Dark Energy is rivers, pockets and/or bubbles of faster moving time or "Light Time". Dark Matter is rivers and bubbles of slower moving time or "Heavy Time."
Mira, look, we already know time can be manipulated. Imagine seeing an electron orbit however many times a minute. We set that as our base reading, right? For our plain of existence, anyway. However, in these pockets of Dark Energy or "Light Time," that same electron now has readings of a billion times a minute because time is "light" here and passes a billion times faster. Or, energy where there shouldn't be energy / dark energy / Light Time. Dark energy IS "Light Time." It's the difference in TIME that we're seeing!
Now we look at the other side of the coin, Dark Matter or "Heavy Time."
If, "Light Time," is faster pockets of time. It stands to reason, "Heavy Time," would be slower pockets of time, right? That same base electron now moves a billion times slower and appears to stand still. Get a pocket full of seemingly motionless nothing and you get pockets/rivers/bubbles of dark matter or "Heavy Time." "Starving of time," or slower pockets in time, creates a vacuum or attraction in space. Since these pockets/rivers/bubbles of "Heavy time" are "starving of time" and everything outside these regions of dark matter are in a faster flow of time, it makes it appear dark matter is "attracting" when really it's just a vacuum, IN TIME, trying to equalize.
Making it stand to reason, by my, "I'm not smart enough to give anything more than this simplified reasoning, that Dark Matter is "HEAVY TIME" and Dark Energy is "LIGHT TIME." Could be. ;-P Now think about this. As light travels through the universe and passes through these pockets, bubbles or rivers of Heavy Time or Light Time, doesn't that alter that appearance of this beam of light? Doesn't that beam of light that is say, 40 million years old, now look like it's 100 million years old? Or vice versa, a 100 million years old beam of light now looks 40 million years old. If I'm right, it would explain why these 6 "old" galaxies are being discovered. We are observing them through rivers/pockets/bubbles of different flowing time.
Also, if I'm right and someone proves it, you must name it after me and give me a cut of the Nobel prize winnings. (25% is fine) Pass it on please and thank you. ;-P
Time is fascinating. I worked the subway stations for nearly 10 years. From one end of the city to the other. Every so often I would notice the city would be saying that, "Today just flew by" or "The day was just dragging along." How can an ENTIRE CITY, with NO INTERACTION with each other, until they used the subway, complain about the same time paradox unless it was effected by it? Maybe a time distorted bubble the earth passes through in its revolution around the sun. Maybe random waves of time distortion hitting the earth? Maybe they're given off by the sun. Maybe they're from outside our Terran system and reach us in intervals. ???? 🎶Ti-i-i-ime, is on my side. Yes, it is!🎶
If you can think of a better way to do a blind survey - of an entire city - in that small window of opportunity, well then, I'm all in. Until then, I invite you to spend a couple years in the subways. Between 2pm -10pm and you'll see for yourself. Just listen as an entire city gets off of work and gets out of school. You'll see it's more than a, "coincidence of circumstances." ;-P
Since photons travel at c -- the speed of light -- the kinematic time dilation is 100%. This means that photons do not age.
So, if these dark matter particles can decompose, producing energy, couldn't that be where the dark energy comes from?

What if gravity isn't even everywhere? Like, maybe it's distorted in some places from the big bang. Same principle as the microwave background radiation.
Mass and energy curve spacetime. We experience this curvature as gravity. There are plans to build a LIGO (gravitational wave detector) that can detect gravitational waves created during the Big Bag itself. Then astrophysicists will be able to answer your questions with verifiable evidence.

No scientist will ever convince me dark matter is real. I'll always attribute the effects we see to gravity.

A college student actually built a small radio telescope and measured the spin rate of our galaxy. It's spinning too fast for the amount of baryonic matter it contains.
