Brilliant actor... it's a pity he's not better known in the US, where I live, because I believe he's one of the all-time greats and the world would benefit from having access to his astonishing talent.
Another fine example of a talented good actor who should be a lot more recognized yet he is not..a shame really.But there we have great hollywood actors who always play the exact same role over and over again and Gustaf has showed us he can change his performance constantly amazing us..

I truly admire actors who are committed to the arts and it pains me to watch Pitt and Cruise... to me, they were just lucky. Very one dimensional. No depth, no vulnerability... watching Gustav puts Hollywood into perspective for me. Popular American actors are plastic because Americans (generally speaking) don't value the true craft of acting... they just like pretty people. Watching Gustaf, you know you're witnessing greatness. I literally get chills watching him perform.

when i first saw him in the Vikings series i just knew that he was swedish, i could hear it in the accent. and there was a part in season 2 where he said a swedish sentence.
