Something I noticed whilst watching this; The four who died, it happened because of what they did to the beings of the forest (Guy who crushed snail, suffocated by snails; Guy who burnt butterfly’s, got burned to death Girl who nearly crushed a spider, became stuck to a spiderweb and likely either suffocated or got eaten; guy who peed on a mushroom, drowned in pee) whilst the girl who saved a bird, in turn, got saved by a bird. A example of how doing good always comes back around. Amazing story!

I think the Sprites were initially going to let her be as she respected nature but as the leader said himself, she tried to help them so they deemed her a threat. It was nice atleast they were going to let her be at first. Still these little guys don’t joke around.
Or maybe the nature goddess of the Third spirit oh who is I think the creator of lil psychos what is the true leader who told them not to tie up the ponytail girl I think.

I kept seeing this in my recommendations for quite some time. I always skipped it because for some reason it always seemed like a "cliche" or "too much kid friendly" to me. I was wrong. I was so wrong!
i'm so relieved to see animation being explored for all it can do rather than shoving it in the box of "kids content". a lot of people will complain about the side effect of kids watching it, but that isn't something we can avoid if we want to dissociate animation with the "for kids" label; i do think a warning would've been good though, at least considering the way animation is seen currently. (i think it's disney's fault tbh...) but i digress- i LOVE seeing the horror elements explored in this, & with the most blood seen being a little splatter on a shoe! my kudos to the team behind this!!!
While I don't approve of the ending as it was absolutely horrific, I do appreciate the brilliant story telling, specifically its message on karma. The boy grilling the sausages was set ablaze, the girl that killed the spider with her hairspray got trapped in a web, the kid with the boombox who urinated on ladybugs got drowned in a tree stump, and the jock who stepped on a snail..... (I really don't want to say it). Most fitting of all, the one girl who aided nature had the bird she saved come back and rescue her at the end.

Then they meet a group of adorable living mushrooms name is Sprite, they live in groups and their job is to protect the forest and help animals in the forest. Inciting Incident The four friends of the ponytail girl act carelessly in the forest, they kill small animals and pee carelessly. At that time the ponytail girl saw the sprites and followed them until she found a place where the sprites lived, her friends were very interested in them so that her friend had an evil idea to catch them and broadcast them on television. Increased Action When the ponytail girl fell asleep, he woke up with the sound of something breaking and found that his friends were not there. At that moment he was looking for his friends and they were caught by the sprites. One by one his friends were killed by the sprites in the same way when his friends killed the animals in the forest. Climax The ponytail girl is also being chased by the sprites for freeing her friends, and she is separated from her friends. When his friends had been killed by the sprites, he was still being chased by the sprites, he had mobilized all the objects against the sprites to avoid them, but when he was away from them suddenly a sprite jumped onto the ponytail girl's body and made the ponytail it fell and was surrounded by sprites. Resolution When he was surrounded he backed away and suddenly hit a grill beside him there was salt spilling and hitting the sprites that were approaching him, the salt made the sprites melt. From there this ponytail girl got the idea to beat them with snacks containing salt, she threw them at them and was able to get rid of them. There are also birds that help him to get free from the sprites. Denoument Finally he was free from the sprites, thanks to the help of a bird he had previously saved. The conclusion of this story, if we take care of the forest, the forest will also take care of us, like when the ponytail girl helped a bird trapped by trash and then when the ponytail girl was in trouble this bird also helped the ponytail girl.

I would like to add a few more to the story: After ellie tries escape from the sprites (with emotional damage) she encountered another mythical creature and it was a golem. He couldn’t reveal himself until the victims saw the sprites so the golem wanted to follow ellie because he knew the people wouldn’t believe her without proof. They then return to her hometown were ellie tries to disguise the golem as a human and pretend that he’s one of her classmates just to avoid paranoia. But there’s one person who isn’t happy the father of the guy with the Cricket bat is a multi millionaire CEO who wanted avenge his son by destroying the forest without realizing about the sprites so it’s up to ellie and the golem to stop the CEO before anyone gets hurt from the sprites.
Can we all agree that this 1:26 here is the (kinda)appropriate reaction when it comes to crossing paths with a spider? (but you don't have to stomp it) And can we all agree that the girl with the ponytail is cute and beautiful?

I agree, if they wanted to kill the girl aswell then they would’ve taken her like the others when they were asleep but they didnt, why? Because they knew she only wanted to study and not harm nature unlike the others but once she saved them she became a target aswell
the crime wouldnt fit the punishment though. she was a nice girl that didnt want to see anything harmed. if she can feel empathy for even the smallest of creatures, of course shes going to try to help her classmates from a gruesome death. it wouldnt have mattered who they are, she wouldve still saved them because thats the type of person she is. killing her for that and saying shes the same as them wouldve been an awful message

I agree, if they wanted to kill the girl aswell then they would’ve taken her like the others when they were asleep but they didnt, why? Because they knew she only wanted to study and not harm nature unlike the others but once she saved them she became a target aswell

the crime wouldnt fit the punishment though. she was a nice girl that didnt want to see anything harmed. if she can feel empathy for even the smallest of creatures, of course shes going to try to help her classmates from a gruesome death. it wouldnt have mattered who they are, she wouldve still saved them because thats the type of person she is. killing her for that and saying shes the same as them wouldve been an awful message
