    I never realized that Jan Ors doesn’t show up in a single cutscene. You’d think she’d be more prevalent than Moff Rebus.

      @@f-22raptorlandingzone30Moff Rebus was that weapons designer you have to find and capture in level three Anoat City. He doesn’t appear in any of the cutscenes. There’s a picture of him in the Anoat City mission briefing (or in the next mission four Research Facility’s briefing) where Jan told what he revealed under questioning. Which wasn’t much if i remember correctly 😁

      Exactly me too...damn can't believe this is less than 2 years shy of hitting its actual official 20th year anniversary. I forgot about this for years until recently but I swear the INSTANT I started watching/listening to this (& a couple of other) video(s) featuring & referencing DF1, it was crazy, almost immediately the nostalgic memories came back to me and sort of took over for a bit...watching either the actual game play, or revisiting all the different cutscenes, or hell, even just once again hearing the game's unique, super fuckin retro as hell [MIDI (OST)] background music all over again for the first time in YEARS, just all of it felt so good, brought me back to a wonderful place I'd essentially forgotten about for so long, but all of it made me almost instantaneously so incredibly happy. Such good times, and a very highly underrated, as well as a rather widely unknown game & chapter of sorts, to the immense behemoth that IS (the) Star Wars saga....

      I'd personnally had made the Rogue One story about the Bothans finding the plans to Death Star II, at least we KNOW in RotJ that they mostly all died delivering that information ! It's exactly what happens in Rogue One.

    • @toddkes5890
      @toddkes5890 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Star Jewel was a known Hutt ship, and since it was linked to the Dark Trooper project the Empire would likely have flags in their systems. The Moldy Crow likely has several fake IDs available so it can sneak around.

      @@universalheir That's because crazy old man Lucas sympathizes with terrorists and originally based the Rebels on the enemy in Vietnam. nextshark.com/star-wars-vietnamese-resistance/ Now of course the US did some really messed up things in the war as well, but to compare a Communist Chinese-funded revolutionary terrorist organization to the patriots who saved America from impending enslavement to Britain is absolutely insulting to our nation's heros. To be clear, the American "revolution" was not really a revolution in the sense that it would have ushered in a whole new social order, but in fact it sought to preserve the American way of life against Britain's tyranny. The same cannot be said of the Viet Cong.

      @salheir Insurgent = Terrorist. Just depends what side you are on. I dont think there ever has been a insurgency for good or evil where collatoral damage isnt part of it. In ww2 the Resistance fighters blew up bridges, trains, and other infrastructure where civilians got hurt or died plenty of times. For the germans they were terrorists and breaking the geneva convention aka laws of war by fighting covert and hiding among the civilian population. But for the allies they were resistance fighters or commandos/oss. I.e when the soviets invaded afghanistan, the taliban and possibly early version of al-Qaida were trained and armed covertly by cia etc.. for us then they were resistance fighters or a term america loves to use 'Freedom fighters'. Once we invaded afghanistan the very same people were now the terrorists.

      Nope. There are no "rebel spaceships striking from a hidden base" which already contradicts what the opening crawl from ANH says. There's only one man stealing the plans in the easiest level from the game. And that's it. Rogue One has nothing to do with anything after the destruction of the Death Star (which is Dark Forces' main plot).

      It's really a shame that there's no easy way to play it now, because it really was the superior version of this great game.

      No I hate the “better” sounding orchestral version. It just sounds like a crappy imitation of modern games. I love the classic 90’s synth feel that the default music comes with. Sounds futuristic, which is what you’d expect from a game 10 years in the future after the movies.
