Limited engagement, hes telling the soldiers to move but not engage unless attacked. Thus they stay in formation and only target those who attack close enough. He also seems to limit the amount of units on the field as well, thus more troops trickle in as the battle progresses, prolonging the fight.
I love going with the faction of Sturgia, which hurts that in my game they go wrong after razing a good part of the map and has nothing left, they have taken almost everything
Bro I really get annoyed with y’all’s battle strat I mean Jesus if we are talking campaign coming from a season total war player line your men up and out your cavalry into two groups on either side of your main line spread your archers thin and line them behind your infantry about 50 feet have them hold fire until enemy closes in that way almost every two arrows will be a definite kill then once their army charges you sweep your cavalry in behind them and and have them charge close their entire army in and they will take so much damage you will mitigate your losses to around 18-23%
What about having enough from all those biased cinematics of Vlandian knights vs Sturgian peasants? Talk about those? Stay mad Vlandian. Bloodbath is bloodbath.
still thinking the ia is pretty stupid fighting has cavalry so the ia tactics too, but its a intense game for battles, i really like fighting in foot with twohanded weapons and javalins for the stupid lancers
