    NO SUBSTITUTES: If you don't have LED-powered fog lights, then you're just behind the times! Thankfully the new Morimoto XB LED projector fog lights: Look great. Are well-built. Perform like champs. Have a virtually infinite lifespan. An unbeatable warranty, And best of all you won't need to sell your soul to afford them! Many of the guys here at the shop use them in their own vehicles, and they're easily one of our most popular product lines.

    REPLACES NISSAN PART #: 261509B91D, 261559B91D
    ******************************
    COMPATIBLE: With many modern applications from Infiniti, these complete fog light housings will swap directly in place of the original halogen units that they're designed to replace, using all of the stock mounting locations. Check the compatibility section below for a list of known applications.
    ******************************
    PLUG N PLAY: Wiring is easy too! The XB LED Fogs are designed to work without any special wiring. They will plug into the factory connectors for the stock fog lights and each assembly includes all necessary connectors, rubber seals, and pigtails for a plug-n-play install.
    ******************************
    POWERED: By three Philips Luxeon-T 5500K LEDs produce around 1200 raw lumens per side. The projector-based optics concentrate a total of 2400 lumens of pure white light into a beam that's super wide and perfectly distributed for use as a fog light. Make no mistake, these will produce a much different [better] result than slapping some LED replacement bulbs into your stock housings. The XB fogs meet & exceed all SAE, DOT, and ECE regulations.
    ******************************
    WELL-BUILT: Their durable polycarbonate lens will resist the test of time, keeping the housings looking new for many years to come. The powder-coated cast aluminum housing is lightweight and much stronger than comparable plastic alternatives. Doubling as the heat sink for the LEDs, the housings completely protect the internals from moisture and road debris. We've sold many thousands of these fog lights and to date, have only seen one or two develop a problem...no joke!

      The fog light uses an H11 bulb type, the XB LED Fogs will be a direct replacement and no bulbs needed!

    My 2013 doesn't have the fog lights.....noticed it when I switched out my headlight assemblies for black projector units.....LOL. I have to do a full installation....there's just a black cover where the lights should go....good tutorial though.

    those tap connectors will corrode the wire in couple yrs , then you start to have issues

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A little bit of dielectric grease will prevent that, Especially in areas that salt the roads.

    I have a 2013 Chevy Captiva sport, I'm looking to get this installed but I'm looking if there is a universal bracket to be able to install this fog light.
    Any suggestions?

    Should have shown a view from the drivers seat and had a comparison of old vs new from that seat. Not just a view of the front bumper.

      @@RetrofitSource yes, I would say set the camera at the position of where most people's heads are at while driving. It's great to see how bright they are from the outside, but the most important view is from that drivers seat.

    You didn’t show the light output!!???

      We didn't because there are already output video's and product reviews for this style housing. This was video was meant to be a DIY reference so people can see how to do it them selves.

    Do the new angled fogs for the Nissan/Infiniti’s have adjustment screws? I couldn’t aim them whenever I put them on my G.

      You would need to wire them up like the factory fog lights but yes!

  • @SubZeDiZeD
    @SubZeDiZeD 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hello, how exactly are you supposed to adjust the height on these? One of mine is shining lower than the other, and I haven't found a way to adjust that anywhere... Doesn't seem to have any sort of adjustment screws on them like the ones that other models have, unless I'm blind. Thanks

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It will retain any adjustment that the factory fog light had, so if your fog light could be adjusted from the factory then these will not either. Let us know if you have any other questions, we are here to help!

    • @SubZeDiZeD

      @@RetrofitSource My factory foglights have what appear to be an adjustment knob on the back of the housing. These replacement ones do not have any adjustments from what I can see... So I take it the Morimotos are not adjustable? In that case, how exactly does the guy in the video adjust them? He mentions it like 3 times...

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just checked with an employee that had an Altima with those fog lights, unfortunately they are actually no longer adjustable. That said, I was told that installing them into that bumper should have them aimed properly already, so you should be good to go! Bummer man, you could try using some washers to change the angle of the fog light that is off, other than that, unfortunately I will not have anything for you there. Sorry about that my man!

    On a 2016 Altima with factory DRL and Fog in the same housing do I still need to tap into the parking light wire or are the just plug and play without that wire?

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      For this case, you'll still need to tap into the parking lights.

    • @dmsndy
      @dmsndy 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheRetrofitSource Inc so just leave DRL harness hanging? And I lose functionality of the DRL?

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, that is correct. You'll leave the DRL harness unattached. You'll still have DRL functionality, it will just be with your parking lights.

    • @dmsndy
      @dmsndy 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheRetrofitSource Inc I installed them yesterday and all seems to be working well, they are just a little low. Any ideas on how I can shim them to aim up just a little bit?

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. There will be and adjustment screw on them that you can rotate to aim them either up or down. It'll take a phillips head screwdriver!

    Do not buy these if you have a 2010-2012 Nissan Altima. The wires don’t fit and neither do the fog lights.

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is correct, they are unfortunately only compatible with the 2013-2016 Altima fog lights, just as the title states! 👍

      @leorush8171 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheRetrofitSource Inc the Morimoto website falsely reported that they can fit into 2007-2017 Nissan Altimas. As upset as I am, I guess I’ll grab a factory kit.

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      So after taking a look, it looks as though those will actually fit in your vehicle, and I apologize for the confusion!👍

    • @leorush8171
      @leorush8171 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RetrofitSource It's all good, bro, but it turns out it wouldn't have fit my vehicle since the wiring harness won't properly attach to the H11 stock fog light plug. No worries, I got myself some factory fogs, so it is what it is.

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They will totally attache to that H11 connector, and that is what comes with those fog lights! All good though, if you need anything else just let us know!
