Children from class 2 to 5 displayed 13 models of Water Resources, Early Human, Solar System, Water Cycle, 3D Shapes, States of matter, Chandrayan 3, Machine Era, Pollution, Kabah (Makkah), Types of Atmosphere and Living longer and Healthier.
There are some students in schools who hesitate to speak in public, they lack confidence or are shy to speak and represent themselves in public due to one or many fears. Science exhibitions organized in schools prove to be a great platform for such students to showcase their talents. Students speak about their projects in front of everyone and develop public speaking skills. This increases the self-confidence of the students and enhances their personality. It removes their fears and provides a practical platform for them to learn by experiencing their fears, said school Principal Md Shamsuddin.
Science exhibition in schools is one of the easiest ways to increase students’ interest in science and technology”, said Mehboob Alam, President, Chishti Students Welfare Organization (CSWO). Science exhibition is a wonderful tool which engages students in learning new facts and inventions with interest. I watched the exhibition carefully and the children explained their projects very confidently and in great detail, he added.
On the occasion of the event Md Ashfaqulla, President Zakirnagar Shopkeepers Association said that the exhibition is a platform for students to work together in groups. This gives students an opportunity to develop social and moral skills.
