HEY love Me some Brian Wheat., i was in a band called Vengence we did the Halls wIth EarthShaker BACK IN THE DAY we were already doing original material played every club IN SACRAMENTO AND SUROUNDING AREA SAN FRANCISCO ROCK ON BROADWAY THE STONE /SF ...Berkeley OMNI STONE RUTHIES 82- 83 as ...PANTHER ..WE were ready ,, did sold out shows most of the time WE started Metal Mondays @ THE ENTERTAINMENT FACTORY and yes WE did the grand openings for alot of places the Grape Vine ....then it was sold and became The BOARDWALK.....just to name a few... HEY we oppened for Roth at the RADDISON 30 YEARS AGO HERE IN SACRAMENTO it was 107 that day..Michael Slyvestre said.. had a hell of a party with him aftershow.....!!!!...& SO MUCH MORE .., SO SO MUCH more MY FRIENDS ..ANY account of THE SACRAMENTO 80 s Music SCENE without the group PANTHER and its information would be an INCOMPLETE ACCOUNT and i believe a real dis SEVICE TO the SACRAMENTO MUSIC scene AND THE CITY OF SACRAMENTO .... PS we even attended city counsel board meeting in support trying keep certian clubs from getting kicked to the curb... yea we did that 🤘
Too bad Brain didn't mention how they recorded their big album in Sacramento at Paradise Studios helping put the Studio on the Radar for other multi-million dollar recording acts to come to Sacramento to record.
