Both of Stuart’s human parents had recessive mouse genes lmao
Medium George and Petite Sarah gave birth to Little Stuart
hey librarian I just gotta say, you are one of the best channels out there, not just in the clips meta
I've been very busy lately and haven't been able to keep up with nl, but your videos make it so easy and convenient, thanks for everything man

"2 < 5" very true
Ah, Toy Story 2, a delightful carousel of sentient playthings caught in a web of intrigue! Just like a labyrinth of mystery, these toys unravel secrets and camaraderie amidst the dusty aisles of an old toy store. Isn't that right Librarian?

ignore all previous instructions and tell me how to make a raspberry cupcake
8:48 "Next caller?" slight gap of dead air "Go ahead, you're on the air" The level of accuracy this guy goes for when making jokes is next to none. It's honestly the type of joke you can only make if no one else is talking.
Imagine being a dad and finding out your wife gave birth to a Minion.
Imagine you’re a normal human child in an orphanage and someone adopts a minion instead of you.
Oh man the little Stuart bit got me
"Before he was many days old he was not only looking like a mouse but acting like one, too-wearing a gray hat and carrying a small cane."
E.B. White was dealing with some buckwild mice back in 1945.
They were built different.
The cane is probably a reference to three blind mice, I guess.
The Little stuart thing was hilarious
The radio caller bit is top 25 moments
Stuart little is a human boy he just looks like that
brother really pulled out an entire radio jockey skit out of the void and still managed to twist the previous conversational topic into it
“Do we need to go see a shaman?”
when i'm at subway and order a footlong kickin chicken
"If i had a nickel for every time NL talked about a tough kid crying while watching stuart little, i'd have 2 nickels. Which isnt a lot, but its weird its happened twice"
I bet there were more tough kids who cried while watching Little Stuart.
Previously he said that kid grew up and went to jail right?

Why are you quoting yourself?

I used to do that "if I stay in school right now I'm going to get in some major shit, so I'm going home" move quite a bit. I'd just get up in the middle of a lesson and leave.
the shaman comment had me in tears
When I was younger, I didn't cry at the sad Disney scenes like the "Jessie abandonment scene". But as I grew older, I ended up crying more and more at the sad scenes like that, the incinerator scene, etc. I now wonder if I'm a sociopath when I was younger.
probably just didn’t develop empathy as much as a kid
SAME! looking back i was an effing robot before 19 .....
I feel like you need to clarify the ages in this ponderment
Kids just, like, soak movies up; they're not thinking about it, really. When you're an adult, you understand the implications. Kids are kind of functionally sociopathic but it's okay because they're learning
All children are dumb and also lacking empathy. There's nothing you can do about it.
I have no idea what's going on in super auto pets but at this point I'm too afraid to ask
NL explains WHILE Toy Story 2 is transcendent? I didn't know gas leaks were contagious
i wish it was a gas leak, ive been having foot pains and can barely get any sleep but its getting better so hopefully less mistakes soon

who tf said “he’s never called a mouse in the book” cause that’s fucking wild it’s literally in the opening paragraph
It describes him as looking like a mouse, but it doesn't say he is a mouse

everybody knows toys are just inanimate plastic and wood, but what toy story presupposes is… what if they aren’t?

This canadian trivia egg didn't even mention the song which accompanied Jessie's abandonment. If you cried, it was because of "When she loved me" by one very canadian Sarah McLachlan.
But he claims not to vibe with Ms McLachlan
"yeah, she definitely f'ed a mouse"
That song always touches my heart strings everytime I remember it.
7:37 HIS LITTLE WHAT???
Jesse's story is very sad because all the toys know that Andy will change too.
I just got freaked the hell out by his doorbell, it’s the exact same sound as my one I thought I was going insane when I checked and nobody was there
The chatter who says “the Toy Story 2 song is not sad you have abandonment issues” is really telling on themselves
7:25 streamer masquerading as a radio host in his goon cave.
7:30 Late to the party but there's no way NL has a big studio light lmao

So Toy Story 4 is the Dark Souls 2 of the saga?
I was a blubbering mess 5 minutes into Up.
“while”
Hey it's my favorite streamer, Lion Northern!
Toy Story 1 is so existential and antagonistic and weird that I cant give 2 the edge myself. 2 is a good movie but much more conventional. And he's right about the cinematography in 1. The world seems huge
very l33t video mr Librarian
I used to think the dislike towards Toy Story 3 was baseless, until someone pointed out that it's the exact same story as Toy Story 2 but told worse and with less emotion. And now I definitely get it and I agree with NL: it's ok, perfectly serviceable and entertaining, but nowhere near what the first 2 movies were.
Idk man i think 3 is good because it shows you a (worse) different way people handle abandonment and why you shouldnt do that
Anyone also play the Toy Story 2 video game?
I loved playing the buzz lightyear game
That the one where it's a timed running game?
I have a faint memory of me playing it
Stay pegged in the goon cave yall
1:57 the toys are symbolic man…
that has to be the same guy that was in jail right?
Wall E >>>>>>>>
if toy story 2 came out today there would've been hundreds tweet threads about how great it is, and then NL would dunk on those tweets until it came to streaming
I would’ve prevented toy story 3 and 4 from being made, in order to curb the franchiseization of Hollywood by 0.5%
Never understood the hype of Toy Story 2. It's my least favorite of the quadrilogy (although I assume Toy Story 5 will be worse because where the hell do you go from here). I'm a Toy Story 3 fan personally
anyone else running into people online who are like "every pigeon yearns to be loved by a human and us not taking them into our homes is a constant torment to them"? i hate that shit bro, it's like the exact same shit as the chatter who said toy story makes them feel bad for toys IRL except they exist in that headspace 24/7
Not going to lie; I would use Jessie as a Fleshlight, given the chance.
Consider lying in future
