it's also worth noting that Quests and Mobs that give Rep give 50% more on their Timewalking Events, so right now Cataclysm reps are that much easier to grind overall.
I can add a couple things here: Check on some reps before spending your tokens as some of them are easily maxed to exalted just from doing their questlines. For example Sons of Hodir in Wrath. You can do the intro quest for them in Storm Peaks and then it is very much faster to just finish the quests or turn in marks of Ulduar from the raid and dungeons than to use timewalking tokens for them. And if you already have a ton of them from farming the raid for transmogs, you can max out multiple characters really fast. With Legion paragon caches, you get at least 1 curious coin for each one opened. So if you are sending them to one character to farm paragon caches, you will probably get a lot. Use them to trade with Xuri'os in Legion Dalaran to obtain even more mounts and pets such as the Arcadian War Turtle.
something to add, if you take all those BOA Rep token to the zone that has the Dreamsurge buff for 50% reputation up and use them there, you'll get even more rep for your buck!
Just to confirm your findings: the Brittle Krokul Chest (paragon cache from Argussian Reach) does not contain any mount, toy, pet, or other unique reward that can't be obtained elsewhere.
One other thing for Nightfallen paragon rep is that you have a small (waaaaay too small, years of farming with no luck yet) chance of getting an item needed to do the quest to get the Reins of the Llothien Prowler mount. once i have gotten all the timewalking toys, pets and mounts i haven't already gotten, my plan is to farm as much nightfallen rep with timewalking as i can and hope against hope i will FINALLY get that mount item after years of trying and failing to get it;

You can also use the commendations (and any rep-on-use item, including the Researcher's Bag) while the XP+Rep buff is up in the current Dreamsurge zone. You get an extra 50%!!!
You can also get the Medallions of the Legion from the WoD mission tables, though they are not at all a common mission reward...about 1 medallion per week from ten alts is my experience.

I did not consider the paragon farming but I figure you can do the boa tokens with the dmf buff and race swap to human thus it goes extra fast, I mean its still 39 or so per. With me I wana mog the priest hero set so I have been doing tons on my alts so I have the bages for paragons for everybody and with my pepsi twist who knows
Great info as usual, but one thing if my calculations are right - for legion paragon caches to get to the 10k rep for each cache you would have to buy 40 rep tokens at 50 badges each. That's a lot of timewalking?
If my memory serves well the chain has been removed so unless your character started it back in ancient times, you can`t get reputation. If you did then Timeless Isle world boss in the "arena" once/week 500 base rep/kill
Not sure if you can still get rep for that one since the entire quest chain for that was removed and there is no way to get that rep again if your character did not do the MoP cloak questline. So other than that and the extra tillers folks (who you can also bop items for from TW!), I saw it as "all out". XD

I did these before the drop percentage increase and timewalking rep badges, it took me like 150 caches to get all the Argus mounts lolsob

you get ALOT of rep daily from command table legion, specially if you take 200% reward, then u get 750 rep~ on a random rep
Don't forget the rep cloaks you can buy that can give you rep in timewalking dungeons.
