I had a ppo against the jerk coworker who tried to sue me. my lawyer was not supportive of me - i should have found another, but its really difficult believe it or not, but back in the day... anyhow, she didn't tell me i had to be in court on a particular day, i just thought she had to go respond to something. So it got dismissed, and then he sued me for defamation. yeah, good times. So he has gone on to get promotions etc and my career took a nose dive. This is a man who gang raped another woman and attempted to assault another coworker by bringing her to his place, supposedly stopping there for a moment before taking her home, then pounding a bunch of beers and claiming he was too drunk to driver her home. She used his dog to "cuddle with" on the couch when he came out dancing in his speedos w a hardon. He certainly tried to ply me with alcohol, and i just kept pouring it out. This guy has most likely assaulted others, but I couldn't even get the cops to investigate. So the way they do PPOs, TROs etc is completely inadequate. Knowing Claytons case, geeze. I wouldn't want an inocent man to have to carry a record... a friend of mine is married to a guy on a sexual predator list because when he turned 18 and his long time GF at the time was still 17, her parents didn't like him so he got reported as a rapist. This is an awesome stand up guy, a wonderful hubby and father. There are so many issues with our legal system relative to sex related crimes, women trying to achieve justice for actual preditory individuals, vs those who are innocent of anything. Devins wasn't sex related directly, but it was a past relationship, so it has that element to it. Can someone like Emily D Baker or any of the utube lawyers do a segment on how these gaping holes that exist be corrected?
No, charges don't disappear. However they can be very hard to find. A though check involves getting local records from the various places someone lived and went to school. Considering the amount of money the show makes they can afford to do it.
If they phrased the question in a present term "if he had one presently!".. then Devin did not lie about it because he didnt have one agaunst him in today's day's... If the case. Basically, they didn't ask the right question to the answer that Dave n Steve is wanting to nail on Devin about!
Oh la la Emily DB is on the case of a Bachelor story 🤩 here’s to hoping she gains more interest in the franchise and shares her thoughts on that master fabricator Laura Owens legal woes 🤞
Can anyone answer this for me, please.?? Im puzzled about it.!! Why would someone send info about Devins restraining order to "Reality Steve"..??? Why not send it directly to the bachelor nation producers.??
The only person who can confirm about Devin not being considered trustworthy and a danger to women, is his ex... Not Dave.. not reality Steve (the man who had lawsuits and sexually harassed two women!) and not anyone else!
a restraining order doesnt equate to a conviction (it may or it may not), i can complain to the police, and the police will issue a restraining order, and yet the perpetrator hasn't been convicted of a criminal offence, it's sort of a preventative measure, now if and when a restraining order is issued, and the perpetrator commits a crime, is arrested, and convicted, then that info would be on the criminal background check
If he hasn’t been in trouble since that happened 7 plus years ago then he seems to have learn a lesson and least not to get into trouble with the law . He still is a lot twisted for leading Jen on just to win the game keeping the main thing the main thing if the main thing was winning the game !!! Best thing he did for her was breaking up with her. Bottom line He is a moron past and present !
I agree with you on the first half... But I don't believe Devin is twisted.. he made the right decision to end it with Jen.. it was in his right to do so. It was sad, yes, but Jen didn't handle the breakup maturely, as well.. If you look back on the episodes, Devin really did love her.. it was Jen who kinda played with his emotions. At the time, if you recall, the viewers were saying that Jen didn't deserve to have Devin, based on how she treaded him..
I mean I understand things can be difficult, but when each contestant applies, doesn't a background check consist of checking police records first and foremost from the city/county they are from?? The way this info was found it doesn't seem like they searched hard enough!
It is so frustrating to see an abuser misinterpret to further his own narrative when a victim is trying to protect themselves by "being on good terms". He was a malevolent and arrogant abuser. Threats and setting a restraining order on fire. I see it, she was desperate to ensure you won't hurt her again. Devin is a dumbass.
Nick has always given me the ick, ever since his first appearance on Andi’s season of Bachette. Speaks to his character when he refuses to give credit where it’s due.
Yes of course he does. Dave is a pathetic man. He is egotistical and loves to promote people that lack his dairy air and loves to rag on Nick. Anyone that disagrees with Dave the comment goes away
Why would Devin apologize for somethibg that hapoened in his past to any of you..? it had nothing to do with his life of today! Sorry, Dave, but that state of mind of yours is really rudiculous!!
Devin doesn't have to apologize, that's his call, but why should we care just because it didn't happen to us? What kind of logic is that? With that mindset we shouldn't care about anything that happens to someone as long as it didn't happen to us, and person should just look out for themselves. That's a pretty sad world, and is ridiculous when you seek to get in the public eye. He went on a public dating show, lied about his background, and generally acted like an asshat. What are you his PR agent or his attorney or something?

Dave... You're getting less n less comments and interest on this topic. Unlike you, We want to hear what Devin has to say, freely! Who are you to dictate that nobody should get close to allowing Devin to voice himself ?
They did not give any credit to Reality Steve for breaking the story
Not surprised...
Sounds like Nick. I don't think anyone should support his podcast

Of course not
Emily d baker weighing in on bachelor news??? Worlds colliding! :)
Still looking forward to the world forgetting that Devin exists.
Love Emily , watched her throughout the Johnny Depp trial . Fantastic lawyer !
Ugh I love Emily and happy for her to gain traction with Nick’s podcast but GOD I hate that man with a passion
Same. When I saw Emily, I was like "Holy shit, it's emily d baker!!" Definitely not a crossover I was expecting.
I love EDB and am always disappointed when amazing podcasters and guests chose to go on the VileCast.
Seriously, get a life. What had Nick done to you to warrant such hate. Grow up
@@michelleheynen810 Hey Michelle! Love the bad punctuation and grammar - xoxo 😘
I would try to release that hate...it can cause health problems.
Ok. Now we really need Emily D. Baker to do a deep dive into the dark world of Laura O.
Been waiting for it for months 😂💜
YES
Yes! This is my dream!!
YES!!!!
Thanks Dave 👌
Emily needs to come on driving with Dave!!!!

There is a contract that clearly states you must disclose if you have ever had a restraining order or have ever been arrested.
@@SueD.-rx7jl we don't know that for sure, yet!
@@terrypetti9636 Yes. It has been displayed on Instagram. Part of the contract every contestant must sign.

Prolly hoping Steve would do it
usually a restraining order is issued to prevent any crimes that may be committed by the perpetrator
next question: how did reality steve discover the information
"NOT" by paying for it.. that's for certain!
Unless he proves to us with receipts, that he did!
After what happened to Mike Maraccini (Sp?) I don’t judge people based on TRO’s. I need more information.
