I miss growing up in Greater North Carolina Jurisdiction COGIC. We use to pray early in the morning during our various state meetings and Mother Boone would ask us kids "who is your state women's supervisor, Who is the jurisdictional prelate" I miss her soo much!
Like Mother Elsie Shaw said,"You got to get tuned up to pray"...not only did Mother Boone, tune up, she spoke a word, prophesied, and sung of hymn of anointing over the convention under 6 mins and the Lord answered...all GOD wants is a YES.
That is why I feel COGIC need their own place for conventions, a place where there are no time limits. So we can enjoy the spirit as long as it is moving.
What an anointing, what a blessing, I wish this would just go on and on and on! We need a lot more of this and a lot less of a lot of other things in church.

That's EXACTLY what I said this was the way we flowed with the Spirit in the old school church, Praying Travaling, Healing, Miracles, Prophesying, Raising the Dead, Casting out devils - tounges interpretation - Holiness preaching - dancing and being slain in the Spirit were ALL regular parts of our services. The people today think it's rare because they stopped praying and fasting and preaching the word. If they do back to that it will come back into the church.
There's NEVER A TIME LIMIT FOR PRAYER!! That's your connections! You lose that YOU'RE DONE! Maybe If they cut the praise breaks and fancy words and speeches and let GOD HAVE HIS WAY.....Everybody would be ALLRIGHT!

I love her, she's from the Greater NC Jurisdiction...I remember at AIM 2010 in Charlotte, one day she was in the prayer room and usually there are no or very few young people in the room but somehow one day something drew us and the next thing I knew, that small room was packed full of young people and we went right on in!!

God knows I love mother Kelly but you have to understand peoples point of view on this, being that one of the only things I don't like about mother Kelly is she is SPOT LIGHT hungry, understand that there are time limits BUT TRUST when I say they could have made that time up some other way! Mother Kelly doesn't worry about time limits when she has the mic, she'll go rambling on for hours. This mother praying is one of the most anointed in all of the COGIC and during the convention she only gets this few minutes to speak, so the only time she does get the chance to get up there, mother Kelly rushes up there and gets her off the mic?? And, then, of course, take the offering and the tithes (because it is a known fact that when people are highly emotional - as they are in these types of services - people WILL give a *lot* more money). And, that is WHY they try to get everyone all worked up just before they take the offering and the tithes. It's a well known fact that this is true (at least to those who know how Pentecostals operate). And, I agree, that one woman should NOT have tried to move the other lady out of the way. Even certain sounds (chords or whatever) played on the instruments can trigger an emotional response (a major response, too).
