Yea! How dare he take time to recover from injury and still exist and do other stuff in the meantime! Real mountain bikers ride until both legs are broken! 🙄
@@jaysaur7053 you are missing the point. I’m simply saying I really like the videos where Seth and Sampler just ride together. It’s been a while since they did one like this.
@@burrellbikes4969 I didn't miss the point, I explained why videos like this haven't happened lately. It's great single-track is back on the trail with his friends, I love it too. It's the implying that he took a break by choice that I take issue with. He had an injury he couldn't "JUST RIDE!" as you previously stated. Dunno if you've ever had an injury that has stopped you from doing what you enjoy before but taking a break to prevent harm to your body so you can do what you love for longer shows admiral levels of dedication and encouraging someone to ride hard before they have recovered from an accident is not anything I'd push my own friends to do. I'm a fan of single-track because he appears very aware of his skill-level and capabilities as a rider.
Seth launching over that log was EPIC! And that manual (wheeely) over the creek was OFF THE CHARTS too Alex! It's great seeing 2 good friends finding the time to just HANG OUT and do what they love doing.
The first two MTB TH-camrs I ever watched way back in the day. You both have inspired me to keep on riding and it’s cool to see you enjoy the type of trails I enjoy most! In the woods! Love the new logo as well! 🤙🏼
He needs more riding videos like this again. I love all the other content too, but there is a lack of riding sometimes. That final convo at the end was exactly how it feels.
Guys! You go up South Mills -> Cantrell -> Squirrel clockwise...waaay more fun that way..lol! Glad you got up there though, it's one of my favorite loops in Pisgah.🤘
Regarding bike packing, just know that you couldn’t have picked a worse route! There are some amazing places to ride and I’d love to see you do a trip in a better area for riding. And Alex, it’s great to see you back on the bike!
Thanks so much for posting this! I love riding out here in New Mexico but I sure miss western NC from time to time. Thanks for the little slice of home.
So jealous of you guys! Those trails are amazing and just like longer versions of what I used to ride in the 90s! Single track like that does not exist in the UK. Great video and the vibe between you two is great to watch.
I love bike parks but i also love adventuring single track! My favorite is finding all the cool secret single track trails at bike parks. Because there are ALWAYS some.
you got off of your tag line for a bit; probably because you weren’t living free, riding hard, or getting stoked. I’m glad to see you’re back, Sampler!
This gave me some good old school mtb vibes. The sound of the leaves and branches hitting you brought me back to my childhood rides on the North Shore (BC). Totally rad!
stoke level: maximum ty for letting my start my week off at max stoketasticalness edit -- man it was cool just to see some good old fashioned riding. No setup or story, no epic arc, just two dudes havin a good time.
You want to test your climbing in that area. Go ride the Woods Mountain Loop. I got so lost on an MST connector, I thought I was going to die from being battered by Rhododendrons. It was an epic 30 mile ride with backtracking. The climbs are killers, but the views and backcountry remoteness were priceless.
Great video, amazing trail, 2 friends having an adventure, thats what riding is all about folks. Only one thing missing, would have been great to see Brian there too
We had a blast watching you guys ride this last night. What a great trail. You've inspired us to go out and have way way more fun on our bikes. Love it. Keep enjoying the riding and maybe we'll join you one day.
Dude..in a world of people who just like to send and seeing more and more trails built to be .5 miles of downhill and a climb back up, I'm absolutely stoked to hear you say you like this type of trail. It's my favorite to hit a killer trail full of all aspects of riding, get a bit of adventure and exploring and be back in time for dinner. That makes for epic riding.
Great video!. Did that trail a few years back after a rain shower and it seemed like every root was slick and off camber. It was fun though. Stay stoked!🤙
I moved to Waynesville early this year (was awesome seeing that you stopped at boojum). I rode just a little bit in Florida before moving here but haven't gotten the nerve to go out riding up here yet. I'm still a super noob. But seeing some of the trails you did with your bro and your ride-through of the beginning lines at berm park has made me feel more comfortable that there are some easy things I can get started on up here. So thanks for the content, and hopefully I'll be out there with you guys soon 🤙🏻🤘🏻🖖🏻
You should check out blankets creek again. It has a ton of new improvements such as a couple flow trails , road gap on dwelling and huge step up on dwelling. They also have a new trail called Ganarnia . If it’s been a few years you’ll want to check it out again.
We’re gonna make it through that creek next time, but not anytime soon… that’s not a Winter challenge!
Damn you really had to spoil the vid 😂
Seth when’s the next video?
Movie quote from "Sully" that relates: "If this were to happen again whould you do anything differently?"
"Yes. I would have done it in July."
We need more of these bro rides
This is what I have badly missed. Just you and Seth riding and having fun. Too much other stuff…just ride!
Yea! How dare he take time to recover from injury and still exist and do other stuff in the meantime! Real mountain bikers ride until both legs are broken!

You always seem extra happy when you ride with Seth
Two of my fav mtb'ers in the same video? Yes please 😊 Nice riding and the new logo is sweet Alex
Where’s Brian? The trifecta! What a fun video. Keep ‘em coming!
I love when Seth "takes it easy".
There is nothing like an Alex and Seth riding video. Missed these. Always fun.

Man this is what it’s all about. This right here is the reason I got into mountain biking. The best times with good friends out in the woods
“If we miss it for this, I really don’t care..” so true when everything is relaxing and the bikes are happy 🙌🏼
Just like the old days! Alex and Seth shreddin’ the gnar!! Good stuff!
That Seth guy should have his own channel!!
😂

Hey, next time you are looking for a delicious meal in Ashville, try Tepula Honey... Delicious fried chicken and waffles.
Just ate there yesterday! Tupelo honey. 😉
There are way better chicken and waffles in Asheville.
I would die for home grown

2 minutes in and you both have me cracking up. Always enjoy seeing you two together.
Seth and Alex riding together are the best videos! Classic
It's good to see y'all riding together again
It is always great when you spend the day with Seth. Those trails were awesome.
Man. You can hear the giddiness in Alex’s voice and that’s what MTB is all about. Just being a kid again and enjoying the moments.
One of the best videos of riding I've seen on either of your channels in a while. This just landed right at home for me. Loved this so much.
That was GREAT...good seein' you and Seth ridin' tagether again. Awesome trails...
Seth’s Bunnyhop over that deadfall was sick 🤘
"it's been feeling fantastic..." your riding is fantastic 👍👍
I love both of those trails when I'm up that way. Great seeing you two up to shenanigans again.
Regarding bike packing, just know that you couldn’t have picked a worse route! There are some amazing places to ride and I’d love to see you do a trip in a better area for riding. And Alex, it’s great to see you back on the bike!
Agreed, riding down trails in the woods (Pisgah and DuPont) are my favs too.
Glad to see you guys out riding together again. Throw back Wednesday...
Love the Hiker, biker, vanlifer , camper all around adventurer logo! true 2 u
It warms my heart to see you two riding together again.
I missed these videos 😢. I’ve been riding for almost 6 years now, and it all started with Seth’s bike hacks and the sampler 🤟🏽
The energy you guys have when riding together is contagious. Great video!
Félicitations a vous 2, j'adore 😍😉🤘👍
Gotta ride that trail. Always good watching you and Seth shredding. Especially on single track
Thanks so much for posting this! I love riding out here in New Mexico but I sure miss western NC from time to time. Thanks for the little slice of home.
Thanks for the video Alex. Always good to see you and Seth out for an adventure. 👍
"Well I haven't been out here so if you take us the wrong way, I wont know." haha amazing.
Great to see the Boyz back together again in a classic style riding video. Keep it up you two.
The ride looked so incredibly fun. Nothing better than riding with your bros.
I love it when you collaborate with Seth. Great riding adventure
Thanks for posting! Bringing the spirits up as we hunker down for hurricane Ian.
Miss your videos so much glad to see them back.

I would just like to thank you for not blueballing us at the end their sir.. A+ vid

You guys should do a video together at least once a month. That was the most fun I've had on TH-cam in weeks. Nicely done, homies.
Bike Jesus and Hackman back at it again!
Awesome Alex, it's videos like this that got me watching your channel. Love it 👍
“Old man Hacks still got them hops” 😂😂😂
"I'm proud of myself for cleaning that, but I'm toast for the rest of the day!" As another "dad-shape" rider, I felt that.
