My parents used to do volunteer work with the National Forestry near Kallispell. I loved the area. Lots of hidden treasures in the forests. Fabulous area.

I absolutely love Salado. I visit there as often as I can. I have a friend who teaches at an elementary school there. I’m from Taylor (not too far from y’all) and my Bible study group has a creationist, who happens to live in Salado, do a presentation every 3rd Friday of the month. His name is Dr. Larry Mitcham.

Maverick and the drawer sliding is such a typical boy thing. Brought back memories of my little boy doing that. He’s 36 now! Live the walks around the farm. Sixteen eggs! 😂😂😂😂😂

My son I have to literal stand over him telling him literally everything he needs to do. “Pick up that book, put it on your shelf. The shelf, you know the shelf with the books , no there put it there. No we are not moving on to the legos yet. Put the book away “. If I don’t he gets so distracted.
This is me in adult form haha I’ll start dishes and some how end up cleaning the bathroom upstairs 😂
@@teeandkids937 I do the same😂. I literally have to stop myself from leaving rooms. If something needs to be returned to another room it goes on a pile at the door😂
Yes my son does also get distracted he has ADHD!

Always have to check. I don't expect chores perfect, especially when they are small 2-5. As they get older expect better results and different or more chores.....
Oh so love watching Maverick no matter what he does. Barn is looking good. London that was so adorable. Kids and chores lol, 😅 yes it’s a rough time with that. If chores aren’t don’t they can’t do...whatever the next thing they ask to do. It’s tough but I’ve used that before. I usually didn’t go behind my kids after chores except rooms, cause those where never done well. Glad mine are in there 20’s now. Congrats though on the eggs! I just bought 3 dozen from a local family 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 $4.00 😊 each. ~ Texas

If I had the farm property that you do I would be excited about the oak sprouts.
I have not more than an acre and had 7 huge, we cut 2 down this past year. But even what I have left I have a ton of foot tall sprouts always growing up in the yard everywhere.

I am excited about the acorn/oak tree! Ihave been wondering about them. I planted about 20 acorns from my mom’s over 150 year old oak hoping to get enough to share with each of my 5 siblings and 17 of mom’s grandkids. So far I have not seen any sprouts.

Live in Temple, just north of Salado, go there all the time, The Pizza Place is a good one if you want pizza, have gone there just about every time I'm in Salado, in fact, my sticker is on some of there tables.
I love seeing how excited Maverick gets to go outside and I love listening to him yell for the dogs! I noticed you still have a Merry Christmas door mat at your door in this video though! Not commenting this to be mean…just didn’t know if you realized it either! I know mom life gets crazy!

I use to go to Uptown Dallas on the weekends. I was a city girl. Now I live in Colorado behind Pikes Peak on 25 acres. Haha my life has definitely changed from what I ever pictured.

Yes my son is 9 years old and I have to 95% of the time when he does his chores! Especially when he has to replace a fresh trash bag in all the trash cans in the bathrooms and bedrooms!
