    I love that statement Stephen, "does someone want my product?!" I have many ideas I need to find the most desireable and simplest of them to get going on the steps. Thanks!

    Chat gpt is great for expanding your vocabulary while writing a PPA so you can find different ways to describe your invention. It isn’t creative so it won’t be able to come up with work arounds, but it can help you find words that are more broad.

    Joe Rogan said it best.
    "Don't read the comments"
    That is the same as reviews too.
    But also many successful people get more sales do to bad reviews like rotten tomatoes do to movies.
    People are incline to find out why others have negative views and then they find out it is the opposite and like Rappers and Musicians have a saying -
    Hatez is what makes me famous. 😂😂😂

    Hey there, Oh, I know,... I wish you knew of the frustration on trying to get my patent brought to fruition. It was ridiculously stupid. And like I said that the final document was misspelled.

  • @mkprr
    @mkprr ปีที่แล้ว +2

    As I understand it, even if an invention is publicly disclosed, you can file the Ppa again within 1 year of the disclosure date and then you have another year after that file date to turn it into a patent.
    For example, I file a Ppa, show it to companies but get no interest. 5 years later I post a video of my invention on TH-cam to see what people think. It is a hit so I work on licensing it now with social proof. 11 months later after publicly showing it I can file a PPA again, and then within one year after that Ppa file date I need to file the actual patent. Please correct me if I am wrong on this.

      Yes, you are right. But you will lose international rights.

    from what I have been learning from listening to Stephen Keys's books on audible & the research I have done in the past , is that you don't need a working prototype to get granted a patent, without proving a new design or innovation works as described then how can you get a utility patent granted, sounds ridiculous, what's stopping someone patenting breathing air or oxygen & then suing everyone for breathing, someone patenting walking on the moon & everyone who does that has to pay patent holder .....🤗

    There’s a lot of stuff talked about in this video. They are correct saying that the USPTO is insufficient in helping inventors create a patent. I did my provisional by myself, but the design patent was ultimately created by a patent attorney. In that process the USPTO examiner (an idiot), used a COMPLETELY different, unrelated, item to argue against my application. It was unbelievable that the government had hired a blatant incompetent person as this. Ultimately, after 2 years I got my patent, but…. They spelled my name incorrectly on the document. !?!?!?!?! WTF! Just letting you know, if you didn’t know already, the government hires boneheads.

    Good day guys! I have an invention idea but don’t know where to start with so many informations out there. Certainly don’t have the money to even begin with but the idea is an amazing one. I would watch a video that lays out everything brilliantly on how to get started with the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so forth steps then another video pops up, click on it and it breaks down reasons why all the steps that was from the previous video I just watched are not the way to go and those are very bad ideas. So basically I’d get an advice from 1 video and another video argues that those advices are bad. So now I’m stuck with this brilliant invention idea not knowing what to do especially with no money, someone who can see the trap that I’m in, please help!

    I had the chance to review USPTO the other day. I didn't hold back either! Like WHY do they make it so hard to become a registered user? I was in the middle of filing my PPA but I had to step away for a few hours. I came back and ALL my info. was lost! Had I been a registered user my information could've been saved. Why not make it to where EVERYBODY can be a registered user?? That would be too easy I guess! 🙄

    Thank you for your content. Yes comments and interactions help to tell the TH-cam AI or algorithm, that you have great content. The AI is programmed to suggest videos to potential new viewers based on the number of likes, viewer interactions, viewer click through rate, and the duration the viewer stayed to watch the video for. If it’s okay for me to share the resources I used here in this chat please let me know. I’m procrastinating my success by doing excessive research, I tell everyone it’s to minimize my potential for failure. However, I am coming to the realization that I procrastinate because I’m a chicken looking for my inner, not a chicken. I’m almost there…. Well maybe…. I’ll figure it out later.
