  • Golf and travel writer Ted McIntyre tours the regal Fairmont Manoir de Richelieu in La Malbaie, Quebec. Originally opened in 1899, the hotel was rebuilt in 1929 in the form of a castle after a devastating 1928 fire. Situated on a cliff overlooking the St. Lawrence River in the picturesque Charlevoix region, the Fairmont offers a stellar 27-hole golf course, spa and exceptional cuisine, among its many assets. It also features a beautiful casino just steps away.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in lovely Charlevoix, and your filming of it all was excellent. Parfait!

Ted McIntyre Je vous en prie. Le Manoir de Richelieux is next on my annual Quebec province vacations. I don't drive, so I'll need to contact the bus company in Quebec City, or Le Train de Charlevoix to find out where in Quebec City to board the scenic train.
