Superb...there is a lot of responsibility operating these cranes, There was a crew of five men to set this up including the out rigger team and then there was a follow up truck that took all the heavy hardwood away.. The way the driver operator got into the cab once the tower is up is amazing to watch...this driver even took up a greggs coffee and a sandwich as there's a tiny lift that takes him up to the cab... Utterly ingenious piece of engineering.
I did put up my own music but I thought it would not suit so I changed it for M83 sound track from the Film Oblivion. The total process took about 45mins to stack all the out rigging hardware with the small jib at the base of the main crain tower for a flat bed truck to pickup the next morning.
Incredible design on this crane, lot quicker and easier to set up and pack up than an actual tower crane. Handy for quick jobs.
Thanks for watching.....I met the driver operator and he said it was a handy bit of kit...lol...
Great video Jim. My Dad used to drive mobile cranes, that’s quite a bit of skill and choreography dis-assembling them for the road.

Hi Dave ..Yeah it was weird when it slowly opened up when I was working on the 9th floor.....
That’s some machine Jim I want a go on it lol 😂 😂😂😂😂
I would like a go too...but this crane swayed around a fair bit for my likeing and I am not good with heights..😂
Was the background music one of your own masterpieces? Fascinating watch - what was the. Real-time length of process?
