Crazy how hard that shot turned out to be! I can’t imagine all the effort that went into the real set.. the things I’ve read about it are wild. Great work:)
@@simrangaba3665 Not the person you asked but I've got a fun one! They used so much pink paint for the movie that it caused a worldwide pink paint shortage!
@@Kpopfind_ Really? I thought of wax obvious. The girl they got to do it isn't very good. Yes, that's Margot Robbie's feet, and they used a bar for her to hold onto. I think that's why this dude's recreation is so shaky, she's holding onto other people's hands instead of a stable bar. They also used sticky tape so she could get the shoes off in one fluid motion. So that part is accurate.
@@prettyinpinky5937Is that your daily job to hate on things ? For the little they had they made it work very well. If you think you can do it better, get up and do it.
@@soleil7259 Is stating the facts “hating” on things now? He got the “shot” perfectly. But what @prettyinpinky5937 said is also true. I don’t know what this channel is about exactly. It just popped up in my feed. The creator went to a LOT of work, that’s obvious!! IF recreating the accuracy of the original background and content was his goal, he succeeded. However, it is very easy for some of us to tell the difference between the original and the recreated version. The creator put a lot of attention into the details of “the set” and how to film it with a slider. But the main focus of this scene is Barbie’s feet. The feet in the original, versus the recreated scene, are not remotely similar; other than there are two of them and they both have 10 toes. 😅
@@Boi33-mc4hs It wasn't about the walking itself it was about getting the viewer into the space of the movie clip. People are just petty these days. They strive for perfection.
Oh yeah that’s a dumb account growth strategy! I feel like building an audience on little tricks like that is a very short term approach and won’t work well in the long term
@@noneofthiseverhappenedAlso, if you look at the shoes, the ones from real scene look more expensive/high quality. To be clear, that’s not to say, the “fake” shoes look bad, just that the difference is noticeable.
@@ngoctrano8255 I wouldn't say everything is perfect. You can see the shoes don't fit the model and it looks like she was struggling to walk in them. Them not fitting would also explain why she couldn't get them off since they're too small (notice how her foot hangs off the edge of the shoe a tiny bit). I don't blame them for not buying the originals since they're like 1,100 USD but even still don't buy crappy knockoffs on Amazon I'd usually say you get what you pay for but the heels on Amazon are expensive for how terrible they are so I'd suggest getting some good heels that fit the model then modify them to look similar and I can guarantee you'd get better results than buying the ones they did. You can also tell in the final shot that the floor is paper since it moves as she walks on it and it lacks the reflectiveness of the original. I'd say they got pretty good results but far from perfect.
I get that, you can see the second girl, just doesn't have that much of a mean arch, Margot looks naturally more arched aswell as posing her foot a certain way.
Like 99pecent amazing, you could replace it and nobody would know!!! I just would have changed the fluff on the shoe. That soft fluffy on the Barbie shoe is EVERYTHING 💕
Tbh you're Barbie looks like she's nervous with the short rushed steps. I feel like the camera movement would give more space for her to walk therefore helping to achieve confident and long strides. I know you've put in a lot of effort and it turned out great but this is just a small suggestion 😊
Same, I feel the actor they used here is too short and tentative in her steps. Margot had long, confident strides, like you said. Give her some more space to walk and it’ll be perfect!
The background turned out great. I have one friendly suggestion: get a model who is comfortable walking in mules/strapless stilettos or have the current model practice in the shoes a little more. She is walking flat footed as if she is afraid of the shoe falling off. The Barbie movie model lets the heel of the shoe contact the floor first which is correct. I used to work for an etiquette coach who taught classes on walking in heels. Overall great video. 😊
Alright, I get the final take is pretty good, but it's not an exact copy to the point of being indistinguishable. The shoes are slightly different, the walk is less confident, the shape of the foot, even the camera angle is slightly off. The background and lighting are the things that are super accurate to the original.
@@Metzli and the arch of her foot (for the recreation) doesn't match the original. Not everyone can do that arch tho so I understand that it's difficult but it's definitely not an exact match to the original
Whenever I get reminded of Barbie Movie, I think of how it would have been if Wonder Woman(Gal Gadot) had played that role instead of Harley Quinn(Margot Robbie) 🤔
Such a small scene! I mean, if you have the perspective of comparing it with the whole movie, its just a scene! But the effort it took...well, it's a different story all together!
