    One of my sunflowers was recently attacked by a vindictive squirrel and I'm so glad I found this video to possibly save it.

    I love my sunflowers. I will give this a go. Never thought about doing. I do trim the leaves a lot.

    My 2 year old son stepped into my garden and broke my sunflower and it was growing so well and strong. I hope I can save it and see how it turns out

    Can you do video on the feed you use and soil type, if that matters. What is the hormone you are dipping in.

      I have a video on soil already. It's rooting hormone

      I read you can also use aloe Vero as a rooting aid. I’m going to try it. I have several aloe plants.

    Is it necessary to put a hormone what if you wanted to do it naturally could the stem just be planted in some soil

    • @EasyPeasyGardening
      @EasyPeasyGardening  ปีที่แล้ว

      It can work without the root hormone but the success rate improves with it

    Will it work with bouquet sunflower?

    • @EasyPeasyGardening
      @EasyPeasyGardening  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Probably not because the stems would have been old but there is no harm in trying it

    what about a broken stem, and I leave the stem part in the soil, will the stem survive and grow leaves?

    • @EasyPeasyGardening
      @EasyPeasyGardening  ปีที่แล้ว

      It can but you will have to protect it a bit. If it's in harsh sun, the stem will die.

    Can I do this and leave main flower on?

    • @EasyPeasyGardening
      @EasyPeasyGardening  ปีที่แล้ว

      You mean leave the flower on the cutting? That cutting may not grow roots because a lot of energy will go in supporting the flower

    What is routing hormone?

      It's a powder you can buy from a nursery or online

      @@EasyPeasyGardening is is organic or does it have IBA etc. Most of the 'rooting hormones' online seem to be not good.
