Hey Tom, I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter and your videos for that reason, I would like to more lessons related to Harry Potter, please. Greetings from Bolivia and have an excellent weekend!!!
Thanks, Tom. Your videos have really helped me with my English. I'm indeed grateful to you. Keep up the excellent work. Can you maybe do a video analysing the Indian English accent?
The "present" thing is the same as for "read" and "lead" when I am perusing writings. Am I observing in the current moment or the past and am I doing so about a dog's leash, a reporter's opening paragraph, what a Commander has done, or a heavy metal. Can be a tangential for Polish; a wooden furniture glosser or the populace of Poland .
PROduce vs. proDUCE -- these follow the same rule that the noun has the emphasis on the first syllable, while the verb has the emphasis on the second. Interestingly, the noun is not the noun form of the verb. That is "production" with the emphasis on the second syllable. Some time ago, that used to be a rule of English. 3:50 Apparently, that's not so rare. The noun form of obJECT is "objection".
Thank you Katie! That's very sweet of you to say : ) oh and wow! I really appreciate you subscribing since 2018!!!! That's incredible. I think you deserve a medal lol
🤣 MAN! You DO somehow have familiar face as Daniel Radcliffe! All you need is a right spectacle 👓. Also, yup different grouping in syllabus: 🧐 LaviOsa not LaVIOsa. However in Hogwarts Legacy: LeviosO.

Desert with stress in the last syllable can also be another noun, meaning the attribute of deserving.

LOL 😂 I had to listen twice to the PA in a US airport in relation to baggage claim: being pronounced "carOUSel" rather than "carouSEL".
Maybe when Tom's channel strikes 1kk he will have a better mic :
