Decks that won't let you play magic. My friend has a Brago deck that won't let anyone play magic and you just sit there while he spins the wheel. I'd rather pull my toenails out with broken pliers
I play Brago comamder and I purposely avoid certain cards to avoid being too broken and give people a chance, beca use other way no one wanted to play with me XD
Honestly cuz I don't feel like playing my control deck just to be able to hang in there. So I usually just tell my friend not to play it. But when he insists I'll take out my control deck
I shut my friends Brago deck down so hard with Sythis. Nothing like a Solitary Confinement and Blind Obedience to make the combat player stop in their tracks! Then a well placed Path to Exile when he swings at another player to make them recast Brago and wait another turn because he comes into play tapped. Lolz
I mean, I get this is a bit of a troll pick, still I find ridiculous how Sato fits into a Top 5 list of most hated decks above Chulane, Korvold, Urza, Winota and/or Sen Triplets, let alone be No 1 !!! How are you even gonna OTK anyone outside of topdecking Blightsteel ? He's essentially a worse Kaalia of the Vast...
Gin gitaxis, either one, flipped on turn 4 is gross. It's not about otk. It's about how miserable the game can be from there, he even mentioned Yuriko has the decency to end it quickly

By the end of turn 4 all you need is a single removal among 3 players with a full grip. Are we pretending that topdecking 1 card out of 99 is going to slow the game more than most pillowfort/stax decks out there?
I don't know what Anje deck hurt him, but I think he would appreciate mine. She's just there to dig through my deck and there have been while games where I ha e completely forgotten to cast her or didn't need to.
I built a satoru deck cause I pulled him from a pack (yes I really buy packs) bought a blightsteel for it and thought "wait this feels dirty...." still put it in cause I'm bad at magic and don't know good cards and deck building so I figured it was just a dumb gimmick that wasn't really worth playing. Pleased to see its actually considered fairly scary. Nice to have at least one deck where I can start the game with everyone taking me deadly seriously instead of wondering what the fuck I'm doing and how I can tie my own shoes.
I had a satoru deck with the combo you mentioned, it wasn't really fun after the first time. But then again I like longer games to see what unified strategies people come up with. On the other hand I still love my Edgar deck lol
Here’s a concept PLAY REMOVAL otherwise don’t complain because your mono blue seahorse tribal deck loses to these commanders cause they got to get full set up and you didn’t interact at all oh no how dare I play a commander that I like if you don’t like it. not all 99 cards need to synergize with your commander sometimes you need removal and that’s y I think these lists are stupid every time I see them thanks for coming to my ted talk and hot take

I think eminence was one of the most unfair mechanics for commanders because you don't have to cast them and have an effect on the board. So the enemies can't do anything against it. I find it not very useful to watch what commanders your opponents are playing and then start changing my decks. Because I have then cards in my decks that are maybe counterparts, but when playing in other groups the cards make maybe no sense and I cannibalize my own deck strategies.
This was an interesting video to get in my recommendations. I wonder why you don't like some of these Commander's, because it feels like you just don't want your opponents drawing cards. You provided some decent answers to those Commanders, but maybe next time go into the play patterns of those decks that you think deserve putting them on the list. Anyway, have a good one man, thanks for the recommendations.
Sounds like he got spanked like a red headed stepchild by all of those commanders. The recommendations to counter them are nice... IF you are playing those colors. If you are playing a white/green deck then suggested blue counters are not going to help you in any way.

My Top 3 decks of mine aren’t even on the list. Zurgo, Yuriko and Mimeoplasm with Tovolar as honorable mention. Those three get hated so bad I only grab them when someone is being a jerk and people ask me to grab one of them. Though Hinata might be creeping into that top three if I can tune it up right.
@@aktirimagic4405 when you discard an instant or sorcery with Madness you can cast the spell. Krark will either copy the spell, or even better, put it back into your hand and Anje can discard it again. This works well with Call to the Netherworld because it's madness cost is zero

There is a very interesting way to make all lands tap for all mana so you could basically goad your opponents into an action then you simply need to transition into another phase of the turn and you have probably shutdown your opponents. You could couple that tapping strategy with the cards that counter the first spells of a particular kind each turn and now your opponents will be forced into doing two spells in the same phase of the same one turn to be able to do anything. So for example if you were to use dovescape and guile with the enchantment that counters creature spells now your playing with yourself. Because you have coupled dovescape that counters all noncreature spells and the enchantment that counters all creature spells or all creature spells your opponents control which allows guile to exile all the spells because it allows you to do that then cast them now you have an infinite army of 1/1 birds and some very ticked off opponents. You might even be able to get some real use out of everything you counter.
The most disgusting thing i ever seen was a Muldrotha commander that literally, can counter any strategy, cause it has a card for every strategy and can revive it with muldrotha. Trully a pain in the ass

I don't have a least favorite commander to play against but I'm surprised only one of my commanders (Aesi) made this list. No Chulane or Najeela? We need to play some time. :)
Yuriko still requires them to have creatures and ve alive, both of which are justifiably difficult for the Yuriko player if the table takes her seriously
I mean, even with shenanigans you're prolly going to have like a turn of forewarning at least. Also might be salty since last time I played her I got fucking blasted for like 30 right before the first cards I suspended were going to resolve (other than a deep sea kraken, for obvious reasons).
The only one of these commanders that I agree with wholeheartedly is Tergrid, and that's because the deck can only really be built one way, and that way is toxic for the table. The rest, it seems like you just have issue mostly with people piloting decks that take long turns (which often is the fault of the player rather than the deck/commander). I personally would have put Toxrill on the list above those, along with a few others: Sisay (powerful, sure, but the problem is that her deck is a complete toolbox and unfun for both the pilot and the table most times because they become archenemy on turn 0. And if they aren't taken out of the game, generally they take a turn during each other person's upkeep, so they triple or quadruple the game length by existing), The Reaper King (Ah yes, I didn't really want lands anyways), or even something like Liesa, Forgotten Archangel (stax, on my angel commander? It's more likely than you'd think).
Satoru is my strongest deck now and every time someone wants high power play I pull it out. Since I did some upgrades 5-0. Can kill people with 5 lands
Yeah I made it because it can keep up with stronger decks and being a new player access to a lot of cards is limited at times. It definitely is some bs.

Don’t be hating on my Edgar! Can’t say I have a least favorite commander to play against. I do have hated playstyles. Stacks, infect, and auto wins like doomsday/oracle. I hate just playing lands and not doing anything. I don’t understand why there isn’t an updated rule to have more than 10 counters on infect to die in a game designed for a higher life total. And if you are going to just try and autowin solitaire with no interaction with anyone you might as well go play by yourself. Other than that play anything you want!

I once had a game where 1 player filled his Umezawa deck with Eldrazi...ninjutsuing 1 unblockable 1/1 into a 11/11 eldrazi.

You can absolutely tap them all in response. Basically, really shuts down interaction and makes planning turns very difficult
