Hey Rob! First off all, let me thank you for everything that you are doing in the networking field. I admire your passion. Keep it up! Could you please help me out...I am trying to replicate the campus design in EVE-NG, the three tier network design that you portrayed in this video and I would like your advice as to which network devices I am to put at each each Layer - Access, Distribution and Core. Should I go with the iosvl2 image for access and distribution and perhaps iosv l3 or Nexus for Core?! I have a dedicated server, so processing power and memory should not be a problem. Cheers!

Yes Rob, Please make this course. Interested in the ENSLD and this would be a great help. That a great idea to make the course that covers ENCOR, ENARSI and ENSLD!

Rob, awesome video! Definitely a great way to present your ideas into a video series. It both helps the general networking community as well as cementing your great mastery understanding of enterprise networking designs. Big thumbs up 👍

Thanks for reading the community comments and this time without music here it is easier to understand your perfectly edited content and focus on the substantial. Great video please keep it up!
Ps: If you want to include music you could create a cool intro. :)

    Hello Rob,
I hope you can answer a question I have regarding this. I’m having issues understanding/visualizing how things would look on the access layer. I got a grasp on how this would look logically thanks to your diagram here but I don’t understand how these devices would be structured or placed physically, say in an enterprise environment supporting a few hundred users for example. Can you provide some insight on that?

Yeah, I'm working on some campus stuff now. If you have some specific questions let me know.

@@RobRikerTechChannel I’m glad you got back to me, thank you. Just for context, I’m a 3rd year college student and I have my CCNA but man actually brainstorming how to implement these concepts EFFICIENTLY makes me feel like such a noob. I’m working a project where I have to redesign an enterprise network and as of now, I’m designing how the physical infrastructure would be placed in a building supporting about 200 users. My question- Would it make sense to have an access layer switch(es) on each floor located in an IDF? And then as a way for users to connect to the network- have Ethernet cables ran throughout the ceiling from the IDF to the respective workstations?

you might even stack some of those distribution switches and you might do routed access
