I'm gonna be very honest that I was very skeptic about Altare pre-debut (and even in the first few days post-debut) but bloody hell, after watching him for a month I can comfortably say that he's the CHADest member of Tempus. My man knew what he wants from his community, and generally very good in wrangling them.

In general Tempus bois are definitely what's been missing in the English-speaking male vtubing market, the "cool bois doing cool things" experience, something that both male and female could enjoy the same unlike the other more popular route for En-speaking male vtuber that they could've take.
I was pretty skeptical about Altare too early debut, but then there were subtle hints of a gremlin peaking out every other stream, and then the moment he started ranting about Shaco in league of legends I knew this guy was a keeper

Honestly, even as a female viewer I'm glad they went the "bro" route over anything else. The occasional yabai joke is totally fine, and I find Dez's unintentional double entendres hilarious, but - that's kind of just a thing friends do, y'know? It doesn't actually mean anything beyond the joke.
I personally just don't really have any interest in someone else's romantic life, or getting caught up in weird parasocial interactions. So if someone is very aggressively in my face about being so horny right now, or being so down bad for X... that actually weirds me out if I'm being honest. Like, you do you but get a room, I'm not interested in interacting with you on that level.

also definitely on the cool bois doing cool things, they feel just like bros hanging out. Niji EN's male cast mostly feels like they're being gay for each other half the time, which while fun and not a problem, tends to be a bit much at times.

I really appreciate that he sets boundaries and put time to communicate with chats. That's nice and it builds a healthy environment for both him and the viewers. I remember one time during a collab with Ves or Magni, he didn't hesitate to get serious to educate chat so that everyone else can enjoy the stream. 💙💜🧡🖤
Hello, thank you for your clip! I'm glad you clip this part. There were other instances where he set boundaries too in the past streams. Like about asking too personal questions about his sister, about naming some characters as other HoloPro members, about collabing with other EN members. Can you clip those too? Just so new watchers can get the memo. I think one was in his cult of the lamb stream #1, one in vesper's first hunt:showdown stream, and in his solo minecraft stream.

Thank you so much for this clipping. I was at work when Altare streamed Minecraft, so I missed most of it. I'm pretty new to vtubers in general and the Tempus boys are the first I started following.
I feel that people should keep themselves noted that there are real human beings behind those models, not lifeless fictional anime characters that fans can write in some fanfic. People making up their own parasocial relationships w/ vtubers are scary imo. I still can't forget that "Altare's future wife" person from his last zatsudan, felt really uncomfortable seeing that regardless if they SC'd him money or not😓
I'm usually lurking and just watching him (and the other boys) gaming or listening to their talks, but seeing scenarios like this clip here can also trigger me to say something mean and offensive towards those ppl too. But I had to hold back for that because I didn't want to disrespect Altare (and the boys) for disrupting the chat peace at the same time😓
I also got mad when I saw someone asking Altare who his "waifu" is among the hololive girls, like leave him and his coworkers be dammit😣
