I just found your TH-cam videos today. I have bought so many planners and systems never being happy, your layout is absolutely amazing. Help! Where do I start? What size are you using?
Texas terrifies me not gonna lie 🥲 at least the cities are relatively progressive? 😅 not that that matters much when the state is such trash. But I’m just going through a lot right now and need to be near my parents! Not to mention the cost of living is freaking ridiculous in DC… I am mind blown at how affordable housing is in TX. You can get a NICE 1 bed apartment for 1k a month and super nice single family homes for 200k. Unheard of! I work remote and my company is based in DC sooo I might be back one day, but for now it’s off to Houston!
I will say that I have noticed all of my different fountain pen ink brands work great on all my “regular” paper! This includes my printer paper for rings, my travelers company brand inserts (aka Midori paper), etc. The only paper I use that is finicky is the hobonichi weeks paper aka tomoe river paper. HOWEVER, my inks have been working great there as well! Most brands DO take time to dry so that’s the only thing you need to be wary of. I actually use a waterproof black ink (De Atramentis Archive Ink) for my every day writing because it dries much quicker. My colored inks are brands Ferris Wheel Press, Sailor, Lennon Tool Bar, etc. and to my surprise they haven’t bled through at all! As long as I give them time to dry, they do great. But I don’t have the same patience for my every day black ink which is why I got a waterproof one. I hope that helps!! It’s kind of a double whammy - both paper, and ink. Different inks behave differently on various papers ya know! I try to always do a test before I go right into writing
@@amandaleighplans I’ll try it out! Right now I’ve been finding that the paper I’ve been using feathers the ink (also Ferris Wheel Press) and it’s been driving me crazy so I’ve actually been using my rings less because of it. I have been preferring to use Tomoe River Paper but I miss my inserts.
@@Trontree I actually haven’t used my color ink on my HP paper ring planner inserts, so that’s interesting to know that some color ink may feather! I’ve used color ink on only TRP and Midori paper (TRC). My black ink (De Atramentis) I’ve used on all three and it works great. It’s definitely a process figuring out what works best on what lol!
For those who don’t care to listen to the back story about my current planner situation, the actual flip starts at 8:40!
Amazing flip!
Would love to see how you print your items and what printer you use :)
Love the flip…can you show us how you print on acetate? Your printer, printer settings and the paper type?
I would die of happiness if you made your dashboard creations freebies 😭❤️
I don’t have Instagram so I’m glad you post here!
Beautiful ❤

Which font do you use in your label maker? I bought the one in your amazon storefront since I wanted the same vibe
What kind of printer as well as type of printing paper do you use for your dashboard and vellum printing?

Hey Amanda Leigh. Have a great weekend. Still love your aesthetic ❤
I following on IG and YT and love watching your planner videos. Always look stunning ❤
Is the paper still as “yellow” in the 2023 weeks or did they finally update to match the A6/A5?
You should use 2 hobo weeks? Or a cousin.
I can't find the sticky note with coffee stain anywhere. Do you know the source, please???
It was a printable sticky note from Paper Tess Designs collab with Planning With Alo!! Sadly I think it’s discontinued 😭
Girl. Texas. Yikes. 😬😬😬. I want out of Oklahoma lol. But I can imagine it will be nice to be around family!

Do you find your paper works with your fountain pens? If it does, could you please let us know what paper you prefer?

Oh and I use HP printer paper, 28lb for my rings!
