This was the Last Main Dead or Alive with Itagaki Sadly He was the Victim of Tecmo who withheld his Bonus for his Work on DOA4 and Resigned after Completion of Ninja Gaiden 2 and Sued Tecmo and it's President that was Before Tecmo-Koei Merge
When bass Armstrong defeats his opponent in a fight, this is what he says during his victory quote: Crush all comers with our fists and feet! that's how a real man fights!
I was trying to figure out why Bass was only saying, "Put the Pedal to the metal." Then i realized how the fights began in the middle of the BGM and figured it was his Continue prefight dialogue. I havent played this game in years and remember struggling with the Alpha-152 fights for extended sorts of time (I remember losing Leifang and Bayman to her a lot.) And ive mostly played DOA3 and DOA2(&ULTIMATE, my all time favorite). Was the AI in this particular entry really cheap and hard to figure out? Because I've really got them down in the installments before 4.
Some opponents are harder than others. Brad can be hard. I'm better with the faster characters like Kasumi or Hayate for example. With Bass or Bayman I can sometimes suck with them since their moves are a bit slower....for me anyway. Maybe people will do better with certain characters depending on their style. I found that true for me. I do better with the ninja characters and those that move fast like them
DOA 4's AI is actually really fucking cheap, no lie. Pretty much, when you hit stage 4 (your first non scripted fight) the AI starts actively reading your inputs and knowing what times to use the counters
4:27 is why i love this game so much.

Do I just suck, or is the fight with Brad really all that hard? I've been trying to beat him, going at him 10+ times now, and to no success
