Ahh yes, the late great Steve Hamilton, the wisecracking announcer on Wheel of Fortune :o)
Can’t believe STV were still closing down with the National Anthem in almost 1987, the year I was born.
With the rest of ITV, they went 24 hours in 1988.
@@stickytapenrust6869 but some franchises never used it or stopped years before
Radio 4 is still doing it!
RIP Steve Hamilton
Baby & Co thought I imagined that program glad it existed.
An audience with billy Connolly Ended with 5 different LWT endcaps.it was first shown in 1985 on channel 4 & ended with the LWT/c4 caption.the ITV screening that date had the 1986 identin the 90s with the LWT productions & LWT on GSB captions & since 2000 it has been shown now and again on the ITV channels with the 1996 logo.
Given the price of electricity these days, don't think we need to be told to switch off our telly boxes!
Why is there an apostrophe in the word 'Videos'?

Anyone know what the music is called
Doesn't that music sound like the theme to This Morning...?
Was the same guy it wrote it, Dave Pringle, very similar indeed.
It's Isa!
Did some checking...This Morning first broadcast in 1988! Direct steal! Copyright alert!
Both tunes were written by the same guy.
@@stickytapenrust6869 lol! Thought they sounded similar! Somebody with the surname of Pringle! Like the crisps...and a certain brand of clothing favoured by golfers!
No testcard
The IBA didn't usually put out testcards after hours at this point, except on Granada and HTV.
