Greetings from Northeast Ohio. You did good Jason. Here’s a tip. The smaller the doghouse, the warmer it will be. Those dogs have too much space. Smaller, warmer.
This was an excellent video! It did remind me of your older videos at your first off grid. The dogs just loved having you spend the night with them! Jason, your a great person❤
“Danielle( Momma) sure is getting lot’s of pampering the last month or so? Jason, now you know that your doggies will be fine in that wonderful dog house you made for them.
Jason you are an AWESOME dog daddy!! Thank you for proving your love for them and their well-being by making sure the dog house was truly warm enough for those precious fur babies!! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾💕💕💕💕💕💕
You have impressed me so much this day Jason. Your love for your dogs. I have seen a part of you that has totally made me a friend. Doesnt mean I wont challenge you on things. But you have my admiration. God bless your hopes and dreams, may they all come true. Barb
There was no wardrobe change! Look closer. He just fastened his bibs over the sweater after he went for a pee rather than under the sweater as it was previously. Have a word with yourselves
This was a good one Jason! You had to be here ...I was pointing to our chicken coop and my hubby said "shut the f up" Jason...because he knew I was referring to our birds being so cold and I've wanted him to reinforce the coop to make it warmer! LOL Good timing! 👍
You are very loving and kind to your fur babies ..what a great informative video....❤...not sure it would work for your situation..but they have self warming blankets on Amazon I bought 2 medium size for my houses for the ferrel kittens and they love them...they have them for dogs too..
We had 2 outside dogs yrs ago and we made them a slant roof 3x4x6 ft box and put straining it 12 in deep for cold winter months the door way was connected to a fenced in area with a rubber pad door that opened up like a doggy door. Locked in at night. Had a headed water pale and auto feeder that were under a metal roof for shade. They got free to 5 acres in the day, unless weather didn't allow. We love all our pups.
The best insulation for your dogs is straw straw not blankets because if they get wet at all, they go lay on the blankets and the blankets hold the moisture straw doesn’t and that’s a fact in the old daysthats what they built shacks out ofclay mud, if you have enough straw, you don’t need plastic underneath it but looks good anyway
Hi Jason. Yes, I remember you with your dogs at the OG. This realy reminds me of that time, also the BBQ and every dog got his share. You and Danielle must enjoy your time in South Texas. Be safe and keep warm Love you and Danielle❤
We've been watching your channels for a year, but have never commented. We've enjoyed it all--the "highs and lows" of the time we've watched. Can you tell your viewers (maybe a refresher) all of the names of the dogs again? Thanks! Loved this video!!!
if you have full metal siding on your dog house, metal studs, you can build a fire right next the metal siding outside and it will heat the dog house real good, just stoke the fire throughout the night.. good to go! chicken wire on the inside so nothing can touch the hot metal.. yup even a smaller fire helps dramatically specially if you seal the door and insulate the other 3 walls and roof . .
It would have probably been warmer inside the doghouse if you were to put the survival blanket over the metal walls and ceiling. You are getting a lot cold radiating off of the metal. I bet you could have raised the temperature by about 10 degrees more with the metal walls covered
Love this video. 😂😅❤ dogs. My neighbor’s use to leave their German Shepherd outside for many years and I made several complaints to the ASPCA because I was so concerned for the dog and he died of an intro of arthritis in his bones
HI 👋 Jason and Danielle how is Danielle hope she's all good I remember when you used to sleep with your dogs I seen the video you were sleeping in a tent and they all started my you it was cold 🥶. They love you and Danielle. 😊♥️♥️♥️
A lot of people don't realize that dogs by nature are an outside animal and are well equipped to handle colder temperatures. I'm proud of you tho for proving the point. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
Then always tell people that don't do a lot of camping they always make their fire pits in a circle of rocks which does not work worth a darn best way to make your fire pit is in AU shape that way you can stalk it with a cooking rack on the top and if you stuck at rocks in a circle your feet always stay cold because the rocks block the heat to your feet so you're best to make AU shape that way you're sitting in the front of the U and your feet stay warm and it makes it way nicer to stalk your fire the U shaped fire pit
During the day our barn would drop below freezing after the 10 horses came in for the night give it about an hour and I would hav to take my coat off because it got really warm in there because of the body heat from the horses
Hey, just an idea when I have my dog outside in the cold, I made a stove with one of those 50 gallon metal barrels filled it up with Mesquite light it up and would have a exhaust going outside. It looks like you have a lot of firewood just need that metal barrel like the one where you burn stuff in.
I have been cross country skiing at zero, which is not uncomfortable as long as you are moving, but at -17 it is hard to breath in the cold air, it hurts your lungs. To bad the dogs were so restless for you last night.
I hope y'all don't get cold 🥶 weather and 19 inching of snow like here in Kentucky icey road's I had to self someone cat from freezing poor cat Stay safe and stay warm if anyone can't take of any animal please don't get one love and peace ✌️ to all
A lot of people give you a hard time, those of us who don't we know your personality and who you are. A lot of people are proud of you
Ya me too,
Ditto on that!!! They're wonderful people imo
Bless you for the effort in keeping your fur buddies warm and the fact you stayed out there with them, that just show your true love. Jerry
I guess there is no coffee with the Crockers from TX
Jason try tarp over the dog shelter. It will hold the temp even warmer for them. Canvas
I would bury the sidewalls 4ft by 4ft with soil. It will keep it warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer
Good job Jason ❤ your always thinking about ways of keeping the fur babies safe and warm ❤ till the next one 😊 God bless you always 🥰☺️🥰☺️🥰☺️🙏
Flashback to the winter tent challenge @ the original off grid! You really worried me on that one!
That's probably the best dog house ive ever seen brother, damn thing is huge, nothing like being loved by your furry friends
that thing total size is probably 12x12 or 12x15
thats bigger than my bedroom its a 10x12
To cute 🥰 it like when you are at a daycare and it's nap time for eveeyone ❤
Good job Jason I'm proud of you keep up the good work say hi to Danielle for us cuz we miss her a lot God bless you guys
❤ This is why we all love you. You guys walk the walk. Much love from Maine. ❤️🙏❤️❤️
Love your dog shed door. all three dogs have their noses poking out . Too cute.❤😊
I think that was a brilliant way to show people how well you look after your pups… well done Jason❤
If only those dogs could talk. Some of their expressions were priceless.
Jason you made me cry when you said you were going to sleep with the dogs outside. You really love them doggies ❤❤✌🏻🙏🏻
@@debrawiley7673 he did not really sleep with the dogs he just made a video pretending he slept with the dogs
I do this for my feral cats...mylar blankets and lots & lots of straw inside of as many small structures as I can find 🩷 Stay warm & stay safe 😊

Proud of you, Jason ! Loyalty to your fur babies ❤
you can tell how much you love those dogs to sleep with them and to set it up for the warmth. you are an amazing person
Boy are they loving having you there.
That’s so awesome you did this experiment. You fixed it up nice for them. So cold outside but surprisingly much warmer inside. Good job!
Bless your sweet heart Jason 😊. You don't just try hard at everything, you do well. Keep grinding, son
So sweet! They were so excited to snuggle with you! Loved watching their tail’s wagging!!
You have impressed me so much this day Jason. Your love for your dogs. I have seen a part of you that has totally made me a friend. Doesnt mean I wont challenge you on things. But you have my admiration. God bless your hopes and dreams, may they all come true. Barb
Very cute video - thank you for keeping your babies warm they appreciate and love you!! 🥰
My puppy sleeps with me and my wife. I loved the part where the puppies were lined up in front of the fire to get warm. Mine does the same.
Howdy 🤠 I’m so proud of you that goes to show you have a heart for your fur babies they sure did like you in there nicely done God bless love you
Now that's love....hugs
You are a good Dad to your pups!
I laugh when he said its cold it was 8 degrees this morning where i am😊
Wardrobe change during the night?? lol 😂 you didn’t sleep in there! Pretty good video skills, fooled all the old people. 😂
Glad you also caught that.
I’m old…didn’t fool me! lol 😂
There was no wardrobe change! Look closer. He just fastened his bibs over the sweater after he went for a pee rather than under the sweater as it was previously. Have a word with yourselves
@dreadedscotslass wrong
Where are you seeing a wardrobe change? lol. I only see he took the CAT hoodie off. The black one was underneath.
I’d use a bunch of the harbor freight moving blankets on the walls as insulation and also loose and available to get under
Put a tarp over the dog house. That will help for some additional heat inside for the dogs
Hay is warmer than straw as bedding material
This was a good one Jason! You had to be here ...I was pointing to our chicken coop and my hubby said "shut the f up" Jason...because he knew I was referring to our birds being so cold and I've wanted him to reinforce the coop to make it warmer! LOL Good timing! 👍
Your spirit animal is definitely dog lol

You could try foamboard in the walls and roof as long as you cover with plywood/osb.
that's how you do it! they have a great bed now.... great video too!

Good job for keeping the dogs Safe 👍
We ended up going to TS and getting a couple heat lamp holders and some bulbs for the dog house
Jason you are such a sweetheart huge ❤️ 😂❤
Jason, I think that was Awesome that you slept inside the dog house! Your a good doggy daddy! But where are the 2 big white dogs?
God Bless!
Awesome brother , cheers from Tasmania

AMEN BRO
Wow. Kudos to you for sleeping in the dog house!!! Lol
Everybody wants to sleep next to Dad!❤
You should put some blocking in along the roof line to stop wind from coming in along the roof line.

Hay can be used instead of straw. Usually more expensive but still works!
As always sending lots of good vibes!! Great video
Not many people would go out a sleep with there dogs. You are the man.
Hi Crockers
You did it again 👍👍
Hey buddy. You should add a heat lamp in there for the fur babies! That would help keep them toasty!
Not a good idea if they are jumping about a few brunt heads
We ended up with 18in of snow 😂 we’re still snowed in here in Mo.. supposed to get into the negatives tonight
Have u thought about maybe putting them survival blanket on walls aswel as daft as that sound x
Good job making a warm place for the doggies . SEEYA
The dogs look like there loving it
Love this video❤ Fun departure from the norm❤
Very cool... great job
Those dogs are fine, very nice insulation.
To bad you didn't put insulation on the walls and ceiling so your furbuddies would be warmer
They would 100% chew it up. Never got below freezing, so it didn't really need it
Plenty warm for your dogs as long as they’re out of the wind and wet weather they do good
Fun video. Reminds me of when you were in that little micro cabin and the bunk bed.
The good ol days.
I hope y'all don't get cold 🥶 weather and 19 inching of snow like here in Kentucky icey road's I had to self someone cat from freezing poor cat Stay safe and stay warm if anyone can't take of any animal please don't get one love and peace ✌️ to all
