🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:53 Always start with the 4x scanning objective when using a microscope. Using both eyes while using a binocular microscope is recommended to avoid eye strain. Practice helps identify common artifacts like air bubbles or debris in the specimen. Ensure objectives are fully clicked into place to see the complete image. When switching to higher magnifications, recenter the specimen and adjust focus and lighting as needed. Oil immersion improves resolution, but only use fine focus with oil to avoid damaging the equipment. Clean oil from the objective with lens paper, not Kimwipes or paper towels. Despite differences in microscope models, the basic principles and controls remain the same. BioNetwork provides training resources and a virtual microscope app for learning microscopy. 4th mistake. She has the microscope facing the wrong way. Your supposed to uncrew the binocular head screw and turn it 180 degree. Then retight the screw. The goal is to have the slide facing your chest, and the objective revolver is supposed to be facing you, so you can change magnification with ease.
I have difficulties in viewing the microscope. I'm a complete beginner should I viewed it with one eye or both eyes? I usually try putting one eye to view but not both eyes :')

The arm of the microscope should be at the back. In that way the person has easy access to the stage. Common but terrible mistake that was not noticed or not taking into consideration in this video. The ocular must be rotated just as in the picture at the minute 5:00
hi what is the differences between this Goplus 40X-2500X LED Lab Binocular Compound Microscope w/ 3-D Mech Stage and AmScope 40X-2500X LED Lab Compound Microscope with 3D Two-Layer Mechanical Stage . Also witch is better??///
I have an AmScope! I am not sure about the difference between those two microscopes, but I think the one by Goplus is a microscope with two lens that you can look through. Sorry if I am completely wrong. 😊😁

I do have a micro scope... With Max magnificently up-to 2500x: (25X100). I can have magnifying capacity of 1000x by 25x eyepiece and 40x objective.... For this case is the image is same as oil immersion case of (10xeyepiece*100xobjective )x ?

Hi Sir, from many years I try to make yogurt / curd slide to see it's bacteria. But I can only see curd and water and NO bacteria. I am not biologist & I use one eye piece microscope 15x. Objective lenses are 10x, 40x, 100x. I tried all of them with no result. I have methyl blue given for staining which yet I haven't used. Is it really required? please help me.
Dear Sir I teaches in a college and there are more than twenty microscopes, all don't work better and all have the same inscription, "Made in China". I request you to please suggest a good microscope which is in budget as well. I teaches in Mardan, Pakistan. I'll be obliged. Thanks
Binocular means more precision prisms in the head. BUT if you go for a 160 mm (DIN) microscope, they are manyfold less expensive than the infinity corrected ones. Infinity corrected is not better. Image resolution and magnification are just as good.

1000x is max, you can go up to 2000x with 20x eyepiece but you will get a blurry image. maybe 1250 or 1300 with fluor or apo objectives
So cool
