I was sitting here eating cheese toast when the song name just came into my head. 5 mins later the band name came to me. A quick search lead me here. I have not heard this song for over 10 years. I got this song on a free cd, possibly Metal Hammer. The song is so great that it remains in my brain after so long, astounding!
Wasn't sure at first. Saw them supporting Redd Kross at The Marquee in '94. Weird mixture of bands. But they bloody nailed it. Bought 'Flood' and dragged 3 mates down to The Wedgewood Rooms when they headlined. 1 loved them, the other 2 cursed me, and to this day, 1 won't speak to me because of it.!!!!!!! He's 43 and lives with his Mum. Very good, very loud.
I've seen them perform when i was 13 or so, in London, one of my first concerts. Still have a tape lying around somewhere. Great to hear it back, thank you for posting this!!
I saw these a couple of times at the Buckley Tivoli and also at Reading one year, they were fucking amazing live, full of raw power and their music had balls unlike some of the wishy washy shit nowadays. Louis Glendining be proud mate!
SOMBRE, LIKE THE FEELINGS GETTING OLDER, totally agree with you here dude, can't believe more people don't know about this bad, i find myself quite irritated on a regular basis by nivana super fans that know nout but kurt
Why have I never heard this band before?! This is like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Kyuss/Queens of the Stone Age and a bit of doom metal all thrown in for good measure... Thanks must go to Jon Morter (of the 2009 Rage Against the Machine for Xmas No1/2011 Nirvana... ditto campaigns) for making me aware of them. I wonder what it might take to persuade Headswim to reunite...

the same thing happened to me!!!!!! we must be spiritual brothers in metal!
I love the passion in the singer's voice when he yells "climb into the water". Amazing performance, very underrated band.
