This is a very ignorant comment by someone that does not know how to play scratchers nor the CA lottery. Anything over $1,000 gets taxed when you claim that prize!
However anything around $600 or $1000 is taxed as part of your income the next year. Anyone that has a single cell in their brain knows that 🤦🏼‍♂️.
