At this moment this machine has to be at least a little bit "mobile" as it doesn't have a permanent place in the workshop and probably it's weight will be about 120kg. Do you think with this kind of weight it might still need more mass? Might be a good idea in the future.
@@GBWM_CNC more weight the better, as box section tend to vibrate when cutting, you may need something inside the box section the asbourt the vibration so you can then improve the surface finish of the final part, what you could do is just use normal sand and when you need to move machine use a hoover and suck out the sand, I built my own DIY mill using box section and found having something the box section improve the performance of the machine
Greetings from Turkey, your project looks very nice. I am 19 years old and I want to develop such a CNC for my own shop. Could you share the details and dimensions of the project with me?
Hi! Check out more videos on my channel - there's a lot of informations about my projects. Also I share some drawings etc. with my patrons on patreon if you'd like to take a look. Wiring diagrams etc.
Parabéns pelo trabalho, ficou muito bom. Amigo, Você pode compartilhar o projeto? Congratulations on the work, it turned out very well. Friend, can you share the project?
you may want to pour concret into the box section inprove stiffness and asboure the vibration

@@TrPrecisionMachining Gracias por el consejo. ¡Quizás actualice mi torno en el futuro! :)
But, Sensei, WHERE is the 3D Design to begin to build mine... thanks in advance
What was the wall thickness of the C channel bar?
I think it was 8mm but I will have to check when I get home
what are the dimensions of the frame? Thks
1000x300x417 (lenght x width x height)
