Inspiration drawn from Cocteau Twins and I'm not sure how much Victoria Legrand took from Nico, but THE SONIC LANDSCAPES THEY CREATE ARE SO ETHEREAL AND SUPERNAL. Late but recently discovered this band. And my! Alex Scally is one of the most beautiful human beings on earth. At least to me, he is visually aesthetic.

This is Definitely Maybe, my favorite song. Mixes a lot of layers between Victoria voice, the rhytm, and the spacial way the guitar goes. Sublime.

Im not trying to Advertise for this other band, but if you love beach house you might also like Vampire Weekend
I love both, but I would say they are extremely different and one doesn't lead into the other. A better thing to say would be if you like Beach House, then check out The Cocteau Twins.
