add a 2.8KHz SSB wide filter, it will sound alot nicer. to get the 2.8KHz filter into the TX line needs some soldering.

Er kann wenn 1 Diode ausgelötet wird auf allen KW-Senden. Mein TRX ist 20 Jahre alt hatte noch nie irgend etwas an diesem. ICOM besitzt eine sehr gute Qualität. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Gerät. DG5MJ,73

Noticed you were able to go above 29.99999, and saw up to 30.500Mhz what is the top frequency? I got one of the last ones new. General coverage .030Khz-29.99999Mhz
I like tuning in the one KC steps and going finer if something is heard in between.
Hi Richard that's right after MARS Modification it goes a bit beyond 30 Mhz too. It is an excellent rig very simple to operate and rugged design brings durability too. One can fit a dsp board in it too which is not coming as standard. The top frequency after mod is 30,999 Khz. Many Thanks for supporting the channel, much appriciated.

One question: icom ic r7100 received the shortwave station 1600 to 29999 ??
Yes it does has general covergae receiver & with MARS modification it will transmit on all freqencies not legal though. Many thanks for supporting the channel.
