Good to see yours reunion with Mau. But leaving your pet in kennel for such long long days affect them mentally and physically too. Instead you can keep caretaker for him when you people are away, being in his own home will keep him calm and at peace. Otherwise they soon start feeling disconnected or neglected if frequently left alone for such long days away from their people and home.

I literally had tears seeing Mau so happy after meeting you. He must have missed everyone so much. Please don't leave him in a kennel for so many days. They cannot speak but they go through a lot of mental stress. Animals are way more sensitive than humans. I have 2 kittens and and if we go out for a few days and leave them in the house with a caretaker, a day before our departure, their behaviour changes drastically, they follow me everywhere l go and rub against me etc. Try leaving them in the house with a caretaker.

@@pranavsinha43 it's not ki har jagah leke nahi ja sakte wali baat, first of all they should have thought it thousands times before adopting a pet. Itna travelling hota hai woh bhi with family toh kutta kyu liya. Every now and then they keep them in Kennel. Instead they should hire or keep a caretaker that are trust able so that mau won't feel lonely. I have a dog and i know how many emotions they go through. Ek din k liye thik hai, for some hours k liye bhi thik but for so many days that too frequently yeh baat thik nahi hai.

I’m not here to judge anything but just to raise a concern. Leaving pets alone frequently can affect them mentally,pets feel lonely when they’re left alone and that too on a frequent basis. Especially when you guys have been keeping mau off-leash the whole time and the place where you keep him,he seems to be tied all the time,suddenly they might feel trapped and maybe that could be the reason for May’s exhilaration,might be wrong,but these little things affect their mental health.
You are right may be, and they would also understand it. But the crux is what is the solution if u can suggest.
It is similar to say working moms give less time to kids and their kids are not so pampered like housewives. But everything is a trade off then ! People do the best they can.. they can't carry him everywhere for some reason may be.
