Man...not many who are not musicians know this one,but as a guitar man, a child of the 80s, and music lover,I love this so much. Was always my fav twisted sister song by far, and it also brings up nostalgia like only few songs can. I love that the artist sounds like Dee so much and even the video looks a lot like the original. This is the most heartfelt reaction I have ever seen and it was awesome. We all got favorite songs that takes us to another place and time, and obviously, this was one of yours. And I get it. I played the whole album almost on repeat back in the 1980's and while 'We're not gonna take it' and 'I wanna rock' was the ones with the cook/funny videos, The Price was and is by far the best song from that album. Didn't know the song and in fact missed most of the 80s Metal and the later branches. However I was truly amazed at Tommy's Hallelujah cover as was with your various sharings in this channel I've been able to watch so far. Which is why I came to this video. Being so unfit for this song and style I wasn't expecting to comment, but your true openness is commendable and you are rocking charming (again). I felt like watching Charlie being given and opening the winning chocolate bar from Willy Wonka. It is truly remarkable to witness someone to be truly gratified with his/her deep desires. Am coming to the conclusion that whatever those are, such accomplishments become important. The special thing with Charlie that set him apart from the other children (at the factory appreciation tour) is that he was truly open from the heart, his wonder was intact and his sincere acts followed. When I grew up, this was my favourite song from the "Stay Hungry" album. In 2009 I saw Twisted Sister live for the first time, at Sweden Rock Festival. I was actually pregnant at the time (my youngest daughter was born in October that year). When she was 7 years old I brought her to SRF to see Twisted Sister on their final tour. She barely learned to speak English, but she could sing along to this song, because she loved it so much. Tommy nailed this cover by far!! 🤘 He's so freakin' brilliant that it's insane! I feel you brother! The Price also brings out a special melancholic feel for me, sitting in the school bus with a Walkman, rushing towards the end of my childhood. It's dark and beautiful and mysterious. I played the crap out of this song on cassette, it's the best Twisted Sister song that I know, and it helped me too.

My dear David cry on there is no shame in showing your emotions over this great cover I think all of us have a song or two that means a lot to us and to have someone like Tommy doing incredible version means that much more. Why this song wasn't a single back then I don't know why my only guess is back then most albums only had two or three single releases so not everybody heard the song unless they had bought the album I do believe Tommy did do this just for you because he knows how much you have helped introduce him to so many new listeners. I do hope Dee and company gets to hear this I'm sure they will and will be very pleased of the results. Twisted Sister is my all time favorite band as well, Dee my favorite front man. I've been fortunate enough to meet him and talk with him a few times... Greatest guy in the world! And I would say, that as great as "We're Not Gonna Take It" & "I Wanna Rock" are... both universally famous songs that I love... they wouldn't make my top 20 favorite Twisted Sister songs. They have such a huge catalogue of music and just gems everywhere that no one knows about. From our anthem "S.M.F." to "The Beast" "Come Out and Play" "I'll Never Grow Up Now" to their other ballads like "I Believe in You" "King of the Fools" & "You're Not Alone". "Out on the Streets" got me through so much when I was a teen run away from home because of child abuse. They're a "MUST LISTEN" band. I listen to all Dee's material "Widowmaker to Van Helsing's Curse to all his solo stuff". Rock on! 🤘 FAN FUCKING TASTIC COVER!!!

Didn't know the song and in fact missed most of the 80s Metal and the later branches. However I was truly amazed at Tommy's Hallelujah cover as was with your various sharings in this channel I've been able to watch so far. Which is why I came to this video.
Being so unfit for this song and style I wasn't expecting to comment, but your true openness is commendable and you are rocking charming (again). I felt like watching Charlie being given and opening the winning chocolate bar from Willy Wonka. It is truly remarkable to witness someone to be truly gratified with his/her deep desires. Am coming to the conclusion that whatever those are, such accomplishments become important.
The special thing with Charlie that set him apart from the other children (at the factory appreciation tour) is that he was truly open from the heart, his wonder was intact and his sincere acts followed.

When I grew up, this was my favourite song from the "Stay Hungry" album. In 2009 I saw Twisted Sister live for the first time, at Sweden Rock Festival. I was actually pregnant at the time (my youngest daughter was born in October that year). When she was 7 years old I brought her to SRF to see Twisted Sister on their final tour. She barely learned to speak English, but she could sing along to this song, because she loved it so much.

It's dark and beautiful and mysterious. I played the crap out of this song on cassette, it's the best Twisted Sister song that I know, and it helped me too.

My dear David cry on there is no shame in showing your emotions over this great cover I think all of us have a song or two that means a lot to us and to have someone like Tommy doing incredible version means that much more. Why this song wasn't a single back then I don't know why my only guess is back then most albums only had two or three single releases so not everybody heard the song unless they had bought the album I do believe Tommy did do this just for you because he knows how much you have helped introduce him to so many new listeners. I do hope Dee and company gets to hear this I'm sure they will and will be very pleased of the results. Ive been a twisted sister fan since the 80s Tommy really hit this out of the park , twisted sister aren't just i wanna rock and were not gonna take it theres so many great tracks to discover 🤘
Twisted Sister is my all time favorite band as well, Dee my favorite front man. I've been fortunate enough to meet him and talk with him a few times... Greatest guy in the world! And I would say, that as great as "We're Not Gonna Take It" & "I Wanna Rock" are... both universally famous songs that I love... they wouldn't make my top 20 favorite Twisted Sister songs. They have such a huge catalogue of music and just gems everywhere that no one knows about. From our anthem "S.M.F." to "The Beast" "Come Out and Play" "I'll Never Grow Up Now" to their other ballads like "I Believe in You" "King of the Fools" & "You're Not Alone". "Out on the Streets" got me through so much when I was a teen run away from home because of child abuse. They're a "MUST LISTEN" band. I listen to all Dee's material "Widowmaker to Van Helsing's Curse to all his solo stuff".
