Hello and welcome grounding and protection should be done before ANY spiritual workings. You are a child of the Earth and therefore need to stay attached to the earth. Sometimes the higher vibrations can make us feel sick and give us headaches and make our reflexes slow. Protecting does what is says on the tin. Lol xx
