    as always the best 3DS Max tutorials, Arrimus you helped me a lot learning this program and without your tutorials I would not be where I am today, so thank you!
    also no Caddy controls are confusing to me too it's not just you, they are not eye candy at all!

    While in swift loop you can hold Ctrl and click on edge to select that loop (to edit that). and by holding Ctrl+Shift and click you can remove the loop. Remember release mouse click before you release the modifiers keys like ctrl or shift etc.
    I really want that 3ds Max shows what sub-actions for current mode can be done in the status bar.
    I like caddy controls because they don't cover up space.

      @@tausifkhan2189 Hello, im just wondering, is there any way to find those old videos of him teachig 3d max or is there a way to pay for them. My good friend learned almost everything he needed from this incredible man. He watched around 700 old clips, i could only find first 100 videos and i hope it will be enough for me to start with, but i would like to watch them all. Thanks anyway.

    Another cool thing about GeoPoly is that it can take an nGon and make it a circle. I use it a lot in that regard.

      There are multiple ways to model a microphone net in 3ds Max! Is polygon count a big deal for you? (Like for a game I would use textures with a normal map. But for a high poly prop you could make a sphere, select all edges and convert that selection to splines, then give those splines a radius.)

      What kind of projects are you hoping to do in 3D? If you are going to be pro in architecture or movies then 3ds Max is a great software! If you are more learning as a hobby or you aren't sure yet what you wanna do in 3D then blender is good too. I love 3ds Max and once you master it you can learn other software too. 3D modeling has a lot of different jobs in it! And every software has its own unique strengths

    why is the max ui so depressing to look at

    • @Moldawian
      @Moldawian 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I put it on the dark theme honestly. Altough everyone, myself included, finds the dark theme cool and more eye resting, it also gives this sad feeling. I think it has more to do with the viewport background, if that is white and bright, it will definitely change the mood to better.

    • @Casablancasky
      @Casablancasky 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@Moldawian Honestly I don't mind the colors but the design is a bit too rigid and corporate. Like something you'd see on the crt monitor of a japanese salaryman in the 90's.

      @@Casablancasky @Moldawian I find the 3ds Max UI relaxing. And the dark theme is a must. You might wanna hide the top ribbon on 3ds Max, but otherwise the UI is clean and good layout. Plus the recent 3ds Max updates have made the Material Editor faster and more comfy looking, and the Modifier list has a much better presentation really friendly to search now.
