I was a 1 year old at the time Dana won the contest, I still think it's the best song to ever win the Eurovision, still sounds fabulous & what an lrish Beauty
Wonderful song sang in wonderful times and I saw Dana sing this in concert in Blackpool on holiday about 1990 when a strong irish contingent cheers cheered it to the rafters it was very moving and Dana herself had to compose herself before the next song happy memories.
@@peternewman3487 This song reminds me of a fab track same year'Yellow River sung by Christie..Kind regards Glynn n greetings from Stourbridge West Midlands UK 🤝
Is there anything more beautiful than a pretty young Irish girl singing a beautiful song? Those "Irish eyes" are certainly smiling and "steal your heart away".
Glad I can still watch this. Dana is absolutely fantastic and this song of hers was wonderful, a real pleasure to listen to. In stark contrast, I've just been looking in on this years Eurovision and I think I have lost brain cells, it is nothing less than torture. Are they all possessed or something? Seriously, they all look and sound like zombies on steroids. Thanks for the upload.
The Irish Marie Osmond...? Nick Hornby's wonderful book "High Fidelity" reminded me of this song. I did hear it as a kid, but not sung by her -- maybe the Ray Conniff singers or whatever they played on the beautiful-music station my parents listened to in the hinterlands somewhere near Toronto...Oh, my, the cows in the field across the road used to moo along...
@@johnoconnell4972 Quite right John but no disrespect to the Irish. This track is Fab n reminds me of the Good times in the 70s I also like the Batchlors especially the Unicorn track. Also from Ireland Arkle🏇..Kind regards Glynn n Greetings from Stourbridge West Midlands UK 🤝
Yeah, I do not, too much block voting going on, all sing in English as well which a put off. They should sing in their own language, can you imagine waterloo would not have the same gravitas if it was sung in Swedish. It would nto have won in 1974 if that as had happened.
I feel bad saying this cus I'm Irish but if Mary Hopkin chose a better song to sing she would've and should've one theyre both near equal in talent but mary just has that slight betterness
A performance as near to perfection as you could wish for. How things have changed. If she went on X factor with this it’d be sorry that’s a No from us.

So pure and genuine
Lovely singing, unspoilt by the world, such as sweetness and innocence. I was 3 when she sang this. Mary Hopkins was damn good as well.
I was 9 and I still love it.
And Mary Hopkin too, what a coincidence!
This is just lovely.
She so sweet.

She's so adorable
I always wanted to meet Dana to tell her I was born at the same time she was on stage at Eurovision 😄
This beautiful song reminds me of thetime I was 15...
h. sz. This song reminds me of my first girlfriend.

In New Zealand we never missed Eurovision. Great songs in this era.
What exactly were you doing when you were 15?
Dana, una gran cantante que ganó un Festival de Eurovisión y ella maravillosa con su bonita voz nos hizo disfrutar antes y siempre.
Beautiful song n performance
One of the best eurovision songs of all time 👍
Fully disagree ---> Because its the very best eurovision song ever and eternally by far and of all time and all times to come
Where's that flying pig?
Beautiful 17 year old girl winning song for Ireland ❤️

Lovely Dana- Really Delightful!
A great song then and now, always loved it
This will be my wedding song. Xxx
Great voice!
Born in London, but beside the point lovely girl. Crazy to think she is 71 now.
Songs were so innocent back then.
Merveilleuse chanson, légère comme un nuage et douce comme une pétale de rose. C'est tout simplement divin.
IT IS DANAS BIRTHDAY today, beautiful song" All Kinds Of Everything Remind Me Of You"

Que maravilha, há 50 anos e hoje! Canção intemporal...
My mum's song at her funeral god bless her
Love her Irish accent !
Very good winner
Mary Hopkin shoulda taken it
Fond memories of my High School year!
Era of MUSIC 1960-1990.
I remember this....
Such a wonderful song even when it beat Mary Hopkin who had equally lovely voice. Remember trying to sing all the words as was so catchy.
This is what you call a song...
beautiful song
beautiful x
I was 8 when Dana sang this in euro. I thought she was 16yrs old. But she was 19yrs old. But I remember watching this and loved the song.
Snap I was too.
Still a schoolgirl here.
She went on to become Euro MP for Ulster.

My big cousin
Do you remember the time you all mitched off to the Dana concert?
Haha nobody listens to Dana anymore. You’d have to be mad to listen to her!
It's time for your bath, Dougal.

Classic🔥❤️ #Dana
So pure. Love Is@!,nd can go away
Nintendo used this Song By Dana for one there unlicensed games on the NES called Magic Jewelry
Dana very Adorable
When talent won the Eurovision and not politics. We'll never win again since Brexit,ha,ha,stuff em.
What has Brexit got to do with Ireland. It is the UK which is the laughing stock of Europe.

A HARD CHOICE BETWEEN DANA AND MARY.
when it meant something national treasure dana
Eternal
Miles better than all the camp shite around today
It seems to me the best songs in ESC were written between 1967 and 1974. Better artists, better songs.
2013 only teardrops was a good winner
Back when music was worth listening too
Unfortunately new music rubs over it and it’s the same with television.
Lovely singer . Was that the same year has Mary Hopkins . You're forgiven . Lol.
Any relation to the singer Mary Hopkin?
So this is the original version of stage 01 theme on magic jewelry game
Not as great as Johnny Logan, but a Eurovision winner like him and what a beautiful voice. She had a great Christmas song a couple of years later.
Stands the test of time
Je préfère Dana à Conchita Wurst, mais je ne suis pas objectif car en 1970 j'avais 20 ans.
J ' en avais quinze . . alors tu imagines . .
J'en avais cinq mais je suis d'accord. Greetings from England. ☺
Innocence
She should have played Maria in a Sound of Music revival.
D,ont watch Eurovision more, songs are gone very bad today, not like the 70, 80,are90 was very good
