I cried when I saw the Uncle and Little girl marionette's meeting for the first time......... I am from Liverpool and have very deep roots there which I visit whenever I can, but I live in Holland, so unfortuantly I missed the whole "Sea Odyssey" celebration..... But thanx to your posts....I got to see at least some of the "Sea Odyssey"celebration......Thank you...
I went to Liverpool to see them on one of the days but missed the last day, i watched it on tv some time later and cried my eyes out, it was so moving! I'm a 50 year old man btw, born & bred scouser too

Sorry, but I think this is a missed opportunity. There are so many good pieces of film of the actual puppet performances that this is disappointing in the extreme. Why cover up what film of the story there is with shadow puppets?
