New Curved-Shell Lodal EVO MAG-20 Garbage Truck

Here is a newer Lodal EVO MAG-20 manual side loader, featuring an updated "curved-shell" body. Aside from the new curved walls and a few minor aesthetic changes, the Lodal EVO is still over-all the same robust and reliable design that many haulers have come to rely on over the past few decades. Watch here as this beautiful truck, operated by a very fast and efficient crew, knocks out a residential garbage route in Portland, OR. I hope you guys all enjoy the footage! his was very fun truck to watch!

Bryn I have seen a new way rotopac mounted on a cool autocar ACX chassis doing garbage in Jefferson along with a labrie right hand auto mixer on a peterbilt 320 chassis on recycle at pacific sanitation and they have some modern autocar acx heil Starr system for closer near the town.

Hey I have a question so at 3:18 the driver put the garbage can facing sideways and I know a lot of drivers in Portland do that but why did he Face it towards recycle then Flip it the other way?

+north west garbage trucks You know, I have no idea why he flipped it around like that, but if I recall correctly, the reason why pretty much all of the haulers in Portland turn the cans sideways is to sort of let the customers know that they're cans are empty and ready to be brought in.

we have a bunch of these where I live that pick up the recycling, but the thing that has always interested me about them is how they've got those thicker single tires. I've had people tell me that they're front wheel drive, but that sounds kind of ridiculous. I'm wondering if you know about that.

+MetroBoston Trash Trucks I believe it is an option you can order on the newer Lodal's, as I've seen a handful of them now from a few different haulers with a similar set-up, but I'm not 100% sure.
