Religious schools and institutions want to be able to hire and fire people based on their religious beliefs, but as soon as anyone else wants to do the same, they scream discrimination. It has to be one rule for all. It's not religion nor homosexuality or anti-anything that's tearing society apart, it's hypocrisy and one rule for me and one rule for you attitudes that's doing all the damage.

For all its virtue signalling over tolerance, there is still not one openly gay footballer in the AFL. Will there ever be? And in defence of Christians here- in particular Catholic schools here - I worked alongside many staff in defacto relationships and gay staff in Catholic schools. Their lives and partners were welcome at staff functions. So they are being very tolerant of diversity.

The whole point of religion is to divide, to claim one religion is true (subscribing to it) and by default all others are not with no actual evidence is a bizarre way to behave, but that's not my problem it's Catholics and those who insist their religion is the true one.

Amanda Rishworth is embarrassingly poor at piecing words together that mean anything. Maybe she just isn't a very good public speaker but it sounds like she has no idea what she's talking about, and repeatedly presents an exaggerated fake kindness with obvious attempts at empathy. She brought nothing to the panel and perhaps even made a bit of a fool out of herself.

Isn't showing one person's disagreement to another person's statement more indicative of there being two sides to the argument. I mean, there was imagery and audio of people applauding points too. If anything, this is simply imagery of one person's opinion on a topic. It sort of signalled to me that the majority of the crowd was supporting the point being made. Different story if there were a number of people scowling about pro-choice opinions.
